Interview Checklist for K1 - Advices and Help appreciated

So our interview is in 1 week in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico and I want to double check the papers I am gonna bring with me at the Consulate. If you think I have something missing, Could you please let me know?  Or any advice?  Thanks!

• DS-160 printed page
• Previous visa
• Birth Certificate of Petitioner (Copy)
• Birth Certificate of Beneficiary (Original and copy)
• Affidavit of Support
• Papers to back up the affidavit: W2, Tax Transcripts, Employer letter, Pay Stubs.Bank Statements.
• Police Certificate
• Medical Examination (The sealed envelope)
• NOA1, NOA2, NVC letters
• Packet 3 letter / Invite letter
• Pictures of Us together, With dates in the back
• 2 Passport Style pictures of Benefeciary
• Proof of ongoin relationship (Chat logs, Travel History, Flight reservation)
• Plans of wedding (Receipt of the payment for the wedding dress, venue information)
• Copy of i-129F package

 

Would this be enough? Am I missing something?  I don't want to give them any reason to deny us, So I want to be really prepared for it.

In case of previous marriages they often ask for a certified copy of the divorce decree(s).

CDJ requires originals of the birth certificates for both petitioner and beneficiary, so make sure you include that. Everything else looks good.

I didn't see that in the CDJ pdf.  That's why my fiance didn't send me his original.  He didn't even send an original for the original petition.

impuestos recientes. Forma I-134 http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/types/types_2994.html#8 podrá ser requerida por el Oficial Consular.
8. Dos fotografías (5cm x 5cm). Ver especificaciones en la página http://travel.state.gov/visa/visaphotoreq/visaphotoreq_5334.html Nota:
todos los solicitantes necesitan 2 fotografías, no importa la edad que tengan.
9. Pruebas de la relación del peticionario y su beneficiario(a).
10. Prueba de la ciudadanía Estadounidense del peticionario (certificado de nacimiento o pasaporte EE.UU.)
11. Recibo de pago del Banco BANAMEX o SCOTIA BANK por $265.00 dólares por solicitante. O comprobante de su pago en línea. Nota: Es
necesario validar el pago de su visa en: http://usvisa-info.com/en-MX/selfservice/us_fee_payment_options.
12. Hoja de cita.
13. Hoja de confirmación de la forma DS-160 para cada uno de los solicitantes.
14. Si usted ha obtenido algún tipo de visa de no-inmigrante de los EEUU (por ejemplo, visa de turista, visa láser, visa del estudiante, etc.) usted
debe traerla el día de su cita.
15. La dirección donde quiere que le enviemos correspondencia y/o su visa. Es indispensable que el día de su cita sepa usted la dirección exacta en
los Estados Unidos en la cual va a vivir, incluyendo la zona postal (Zip code).

Compile documents that pertain to your case from the following list. DO NOT send them to this office by mail. Instead,
take them with you to the interview.
1. A passport valid for travel to the United States and with a validity date at least six months beyond your intended period of stay in the U.S.
(unless country-specific agreements provide exemptions)
2. Original birth certificate
3. Original marriage certificate (if applicable)
4. Divorce or death certificate(s) of any previous spouse(s) for both you and the U.S. citizen sponsor
5. Police certificates from your present country of residence and all countries where you have lived for 6 months or more since age 16
(Police certificates are also required for accompanying children age 16 or older.) Details on obtaining police certificates can be found at

6. Medical examination (Vaccinations are optional.) See the attached instructions for medical exams.
7. Evidence of financial support (Form I-134). Additionally, an affidavit of support might be requested.
8. Two (2) 2x2 photographs for each applicant. See the required photo format explained in Photograph Requirements.
9. Evidence of the relationship between the petitioner and beneficiary (a).
10. Proof of the petitioner’s U.S. citizenship. This might include a birth certificate or U.S. passport.
11. Receipt of payment for $265.00 USD for each applicant through either the online system or from any BANAMEX or SCOTIA bank
branch. Note: Please validate your Banamex or Scotia bank payment at http://usvisa-info.com/enMX/selfservice/us_fee_payment_options
12. Consular Interview appointment letter.
13. Confirmation of online submission of form DS-160 for each applicant.
14. If you have obtained non-immigrant visas to enter the United States (i.e. tourist visa, Laser visa, student visa), bring those visas with you
to the interview.
15. The address where you would like us to mail your documents at the end of the visa process

Hmmm. When we had our interview back in February, they asked him for the original copy of my birth certificate, but it's very possible things have changed. It looks like the PDF is different now, and it actually just says that you must include: Proof of your U.S. petitioner’s status and domicile in the United States. (photocopy of a U.S. passport, naturalization certificate, or legal permanent resident card). I don't see any mention of the birth certificate anymore.

 

You're right, it doesn't say original birth certificate anywhere now, so you probably don't have to worry. But they did ask my husband for mine, so just sharing our experience! I'm sure it will be fine.
