I don't think I'm going to be able to get an infopass appointment.... everytime I check there's none available. Has anyone else got the same problem? Issue is I wont be able to drive, work or leave the US from Sep 11th :S

I'm getting so tired of waiting now been a year a month :ranting:

I'd been checking the system for about 3 weeks in June and one finally opened up about 10 days ago for tomorrow. It may be a little early but with the scarcity of appointments I just had to do it. So yeah, maybe just takes that one lucky roll to get one. It took us long enough

The office in my state isn’t accepting infopass appointments period. I’m concerned because husband card expires in August. I feel your pain.

Really? I guess I did see that one out of state office was the same way. They say if it's an emergency you can go in to wait and see if they can squeeze you in. I don't know what constitutes and emergency in there books but I'd say loss of job is fairly dire.

Doubt you'll need one the way VSC is tossing out approvals!

And should you don't hear...book at another location.  Others have but you'll have to drive 3-4 hours.  Not sure if your field office is taking walkins, some offices are but you'll need to get there super early cuz I've heard they have a daily walkin limit.

Doubt this will be the case for VSC filers.  Maybe for CSC filers who are waiting for the the extension to the extension....letter.  I'd suggest those who are still waiting and are from CSC and can't get an appt to book at another field office close by.  The drive alone might be worth the piece of mind.

My husband got an approved finally. It's Vermont and eac172560****. Received notice on June 12th 2017. Both of his gc and a one yr extension has expired in June( we didn't file it until last minutes). We just didn't care because we knew it was coming soon or later.

Dont be stressed, it will come soon :)

I don't comment very often on this site, but just checking in to say my card is being produced!!!  My first NOA was from June 16 2017, and I just got a text notification yesterday that my case was updated.  It was the first time I heard anything about my case since my biometrics appt last July.  I was fully expecting to get an RFE after reading what a lot of people on here send in, since I sent in only a minimal amount of documents by comparison, but somehow I managed to be approved.

Good luck to all those still waiting!   Can't wait to have the card in hand!

Congrats to all the approved. Going by the detailed updates here, I'm hopeful that the EAC17258s (i.e me and others) will get some action next week :D

True. This is coming from my prospective: a CSC filer in Utah. Our field office website in Salt Lake City suggests coming in for "emergencies" if there are no appointment slots available. I have also read stories on VJ about going to other offices out of your closest field office only to be met with an officer that won't touch the case because it's not in their given jurisdiction. So it seems like the dice is being rolled either way.

We had an appointment today to get an I-551 stamp and were successful, in case anyone still waiting on CSC for the 2nd extension letter is out there. Brought in passport, NOA1, and expired GC and the officer looked at everything, asked a few questions and gave us the stamp. We received our NOA June 6th  and GC expires the end of August sometime. I was kind of afraid he would tell us to wait till the end of August and wait for our 18 month extension letter; but he didn't say anything about them. He also returned our NOA1 and GC. So we still have that which is nice. He pointed to the GC and noted a number on it that matched what was stamped in my husband's passport. He said immigration at the ports are familiar with the stamp and that's all we would need in that instance; but he said that workplaces and the DMV may not be familiar. So maybe that's why he gave us the GC back too--just in case someone wanted to see the GC and stamp together.
