At least somebody was having a bit of fun during the 2016 elections!

I have to say the hugging tradition in the US can be a little bothersome. Between very close friends and (likable) relatives, of course it's understandable. But just as a default greeting? It is a little on the intrusive side.

Yes, this was a made for SNL skit based on how uncomfortable it looked. :)  I think the guy imitating Trump was a bit over the top, but I guess they wanted to see a worst case.

I know Katya hugs everyone in greeting which my family is getting used to.  That is something I always do when traveling to different parts of the world, find out how people greet each other out of respect for other cultures.

it seems hugging is a Russian thing. Maybe Trump learned from Putin? (Come on, you can't say you didn't see this coming.. LOL). :jest:

Hillary was indeed having quite a bit of fun when she thought the election was handed to her on a silver platter. You could see it in that smirk of hers during the debates when Trump kept making point after point that resonated with the voting populace. While Trump was showing his endurance and campaigning constantly in the rust belt states, Hillary was out "having fun" planning her victory party.

As you can see, her fun attitude has all but disappeared.

Or doing "fundraisers" with donors.

Or sleeping.

or drinking

or passing out

or cussing her staff

or receiving debate questions.

IMO it was a good thing she never spent any time practicing her. "Why am I not 50 points ahead" line.
