Hello! Do I have to resubmit all my original relationship evidence from my I-130 at the interview or just anything NEW? I haven't seen my husband since I sent it so we don't have any new photos, just chats.

Also, can my husband just give the officer his phone for evidence?!? We use a combination of Viber, Google hangouts, and Skype, and getting the call logs from any of those is nearly impossible! I'm not about to have him print 200 pages of ####### that they're not going to read either.

Thanks. Sorry for venting a little bit.

It's good to have the "old" evidence on hand, but mostly they want to see new evidence.

I haven't heard of any consulate that allows phones or other electronic devices inside, so you'll need to print any evidence you want to show.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

you dont have to print everything. just a few recent chats and all are good. also, i dont think consulate will allow phones inside. printing would be better than nothing on hand and officer asks for it. :D Good luck with the interview

The CO conducting your interview will have a copy of everything you submitted to USCIS. Anything new will need to be printed, absolutely no phones in the consulate. Many times, they do not ask for supplemental evidence, as they do not have a lot of time with you, but just bring a few pages of chats and call logs, not all.  I sent my wife with a binder full of information and they didn't ask for anything except what was in the I-130.

I would say just take a selection of chats or few screenshots (one or more a month) to show that you communicated.  For skype logs, i just took the longer items in a table format with the duration, call start time, etc. which kept it much more compact.

Well, most of the time they don't want to see the evidence after you marriage, so just save a few old evidence which you didn't submit to USCIS. In my case, i submit a few evidence for USCIS, few more pictures for NVC which tooks 7 years ago, and i keep the last not least is the pictures 10 years ago  for the interview.

Algiers Embassy does not allow phone devices. As of ongoing relationship evidence. What I did is sending evidence in each step. I Sent some evidence to USCIS and I also attached a set of evidence to NVC asking them to forward it to the Embassy. For the interview, we will gather more chat and call logs in case they are needed. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Thanks everyone! I sucked it up and printed all the video call logs and then some chats from the past 2 months... still like 20 pages worth of stuff. Oh well. I'm just so sick of submitting and then resubmitting 100+ pages worth of the same stuff! You need an entire day just to prepare everything. I've definitely had a lot of late nights. So glad this website exists, and that it's almost over, God willing! :):)
