  • 10-03-2016:  I-797C NOA1 Hardcopy received
  • 02-15-2017:  Case transferred to Texas Service Center
  • 03-16-2017:  NOA2 Approval Date
  • 03-22-2017:  USCIS sent case to NVC, Case Status changed to "We sent your case to the Department of State for visa processing"
  • 03-23-2017:  NOA2 Harcdopy received

  • 07-13-2017:  NVC rep confirmed Interview Date assigned

  • 03-27-2023:  USCIS Requested additional evidence "as it has been several years since you've submitted this petition" 
  • 05-13-2023:  Sent RFE response via USPS certified Priority mail
  • 05-17-2023:  USCIS received RFE packet
  • 05-19-2023:  USCIS case status updated to “New Card is Being Produced"

Hello everyone

im new here i just want to join the wait LOL i thought USCIS  will be the hard part but no here we are.

my nephew had his visa march 26/2017 we emailed his papers in. i think email is way faster we sent his papers and my husband same time but he had an older priority date so i guess thats why his process was faster  it didnt take 4 weeks.

 

my husband:

 first scan date 12/17/16

checklist 03/08/17

second scan date 03/16/17

06/01/2017 is 11 weeks mark.

My file did reach the local embassy on 30 April, although they said to me dispatched on 01 May it was actually dispatched 27 April (same day as interview expedite was accepted).  Its possible that the AOS is back given my interview date is now ready (although I don't know of it yet).

 

 

Could you please tell me how long they took to grant the expedite? I'm a little bit anxious because my husband is in the hospital and I requested for expedite and just received an email saying that my petition is under under review, if you could please show me a timeline for the expedite I'd really appreciate it! And congrats for your coming interview and good luck!

I called NVC twice today and both reps said our case is currently in the review department. I think they are actively reviewing cases from Feb 15 - 25 now. Hopefully we should hear from them this week. Good luck

Just curious, so does your "status" say "At NVC"? If so, when did that happen?

So maybe your case is "under review"? Are you able to call them to find out ?
