In the I-485 instructions, for adjusting from a K-1 visa who was married within 90 days, it says to include a copy of the marriage certificate. We went to the county clerk, got the marriage license, and when we were married, the officiant filled out the part of the license that says we were married, etc. We took that back to the clerk, and asked about getting certified copies of the certificate...she said we could get them right then, so we ordered a few. What we got, though, is indeed a certified copy but it is just the completed marriage license. I asked about "marriage certificate" and she said "This is it." Will this cause any problems when we send it in because it says license instead of certificate? It doesn't have anything "official"-looking on it saying we were married other than what the officiant wrote - is that good enough? Anyone else from Illinois who can confirm that this document also serves as the certificate? I'm attaching a picture so you can see what I'm talking about. Thanks!

Some states just turn the marriage license into a marriage certificate after marriage, so even if it doesn't say certificate on it, it's perfectl fine to use.
