Try raising a 3rd SR online. I raised one on 31st July and got a response 30th August. I raised a second SR the next day and then a third yesterday. I called for a Tier 2 officer and got told that my case is at the Lee's Summit MO office and that it's still under review. She said that yesterday's SR was having a response sent and I may even receive my card in the mail with it.

She also said that it all depends on workload as to when it gets dealt with. She said that it's done in the order of when they receive it - not sure that's true because they had it when I raised the first SR so it has been way over a month that somebody has had their hands on it. She stated that it should take around two weeks from them receiving the case..

Got the email this morning to say that my case is STILL under review.

So I certainly suggest raising another SR and trying another Tier 2..

Best of luck today!

We just put in a third request online.

Fingers crossed third time is the charm...

It is a frustrating process. I feel bad for any one that has moved here and wants to contribute to their family, as my wife does. The file was marked received on their website on May 01. My wife is feeling pretty down about this. The last thing we have heard was when we had biometrics on 5/31. 2 SR and only one answered.

I just called uscis and spoke to a tier 2 officer that told me that service request has been approved as of September 5th. Told me I should be receiving a letter soon. Have not seen any status update online as of yet, but at least I got verbal confirmation that it was approved.

After speaking to a very helpful T1 officer, she decided to write a bunch of stuff on my case profile and assigned it to an officer. That was yesterday 1:00 PM eastern time. Haven't heard anything since then. This is our 2nd SR (PD May 1st, Nebraska). The 1st SR was responded the next day first thing in the morning with "need 30 more days" crapp. I want to believe that this time they might actually be working on my case, but the whole process has battered me enough not to get my hopes high :(

Anyone has any experience? How long does it take for them to respond after service request is assigned? Am I reading too much into the whole thing? Am I going to waste another weekend stressing out?

It depends on case to case basis: some have their replies in a decent span of time, whereas others have to wait over time. My PD is May 24th, and most with similar timelines as mine are receiving responses, and/or their cards. My SR was August 21st, which is still not answered. I will also go for a 2nd SR next week: it may help my application. Wish you good luck!

Spoke to Tier 2 yesterday and he opened up a expedite case for us. Not sure if it will help but it is unassigned in the system.

I would suggest you put in another SR. I put in a third one about a week after the second one and the second one hadn't even been assigned but the next day the third one had a response.. Go figure 🙄 Sometimes they just need bugging, even if it's to be told that your case is under review! Also ask them if it's been sent to another office and if so, which one. Mine got sent to Lee's Summit, MO..

Yes that's my next plan of action. I will also speak to a Tier 2 officer - which I feel I should've had earlier. Day 109 today!

Good luck with your application!

Well no answer on the expedite...except it was assigned today and a response was given but the status hasn't changed so I guess the response will be the case is being reviewed. We will call Monday and ask about the response.

I had the same response tuesday, I remember someone getting EAD a few days later with same status. I was hoping to get something today but I guess it will be next week!
