Hi! I believe it will not affect it cause I know some even got RFEs after biometrics. I do hope you'll be able to resolve this issue.

You're right. i submitted my request for expedite before my biometrics and USCIS sent me a notice stating they cannot process without it. I just did biometrics yesterday and requested expedited processing the same day.

So i didn't send in an I-130A with my application (I guess I was still operating on the old instructions). Should I wait for an RFE or should I send in an I-130A today with a cover letter explaining my understanding? Any suggestions?

Sent off I-485 packet May 19th, received the 23rd.  I received text messages today when I woke up and they cashed my check.  So now we wait for the rest to happen.  Good luck to all and hope for a speedy conclusion.  I am in Houston and it seems it has one of the longest timelines from submittal to receiving GC.

As an update, just decided to check my account and show both checks pending the 1225 and 535.

On the USCIS page, everything shows "Case was received etc etc" but the 485 shows "we accepted the fingerprint fee...." - should I be worried since they just mention the finger print fee or is it just a canned response message since they are in process of doing the entire 1225(bio + 485 fee)?

Hi! been waiting for my bio appointment letter since may 2nd. so you are still good. it usually takes 7-10 days from noa1 before you get the bio appointment letter. some even longer. and when you get passed 30 days you can call costumer service and inquire. that's what happen to my application. i called them on the 29th day and they gave me a confirmation number for the bio appointment letter. hope this will lessen your anxiety.
