After Syria Gas Attack, World Awaits What Kind of Leader Trump Will Be

Some 40 words of the short, 78-word statement blamed former President Obama for inaction.

Wait, I'm a little confused here. I thought you guys didn't want more American involvement. And I highly doubt you can blame Trump for Obama's agreement with Putin, as well as him not acting on his own red lines.Regardless, it's a tragic situation and not one that should be made political by either side, left or right.

america enacted regime change is always a disaster, but that has nothing to do with trump's statement. should not be made political, but political is the entirety of trump's statement. afterall he can't just come right out and say he'll handle syria however putin would prefer..who better to blame than obama and democrats? worked all election - got him elected, maybe he'll be able to ride out his entire presidency just keeping it partisan.

I am pretty sure that Trump envisioned solving all of the world's problems by this point in his so called presidency. Certainly his glee club had visions of the entire world being far too scared of The Donald to act up before he even took office. Not at all surprised that whatever happens bad on his watch Trump is going find someone else to blame. I doubt he will do much of anything regarding this Syrian gas attack atrocity unless he wants to fight two wars simultaneously, Team Trump is already spoiling for war in Korea.

Hence why I said left and right, both sides. I don't think it should have been in the statement, but the headline was about the world watching what he will do. Well, what do you think he should do that Obama didn't do? And no one can deny Obama does bear alot of responsibility for it. He should not have made the agreement he made with Putin.

been in the statement? blaming obama was the statement..obama isn't in office anymore and i'm pretty sure all presidents have had to deal with the decisions of past presidents that's how this whole thing works. obama bears responsibility for what happened on his watch, trump bears the responsibility for what happens on his. that's why the world is waiting to see what trump will do, thus far, all he knows how to do is blame obama and democrats. and republicans who dare stay off their knees in his presence.

i don't remember obama blaming bush in statements for current events..i mean maybe trump would like to call up obama and ask him how do deal the the mess he made?

Short of going all in and invading Syria I don't know what else Obama could have done. I would agree he made plenty of mistakes regarding the ongoing tragedy that is Syria, but not sure what real options Obama had.

 

The world is watching Donald Trump for what he will do and now we know, be the embarrassment he has been since he started running for the office he now holds.

Really? I seem to recall Obama and his pundits mentioning even all the way up leading to the recent elections how they had to claw out of such a horrid recession because of Bush.

it isn't relevant, because we have a new administration. The so-called president is more interested in visiting his own properties and playing golf. When it comes to Syria, he will let his Russian sponsors take care of it.
