OMG I just got a notification on my app, we got our NOA2 just now!! It's nearly midnight and I was actually going to sleep but wanted to check something on my iPad and it popped up. So so happy.

Either email or mail, depending on your case being electronic or not. I've seen both for Philippines, but, anyway, it's always adressed to the petitioner.

In the event you don't get that notification, or not in time for your medical, I've seen people from there saying they made a screen capture of the ceac tracker, showing the case as Ready... Maybe check that with someone else from the Philippines in the portal, that I've heard is just wonderful and full of valuable information.

Woke up to an email from Jakarta Embassy asking for Beneficiary's updated information. Thought it was a mistake because I'd emailed them to inform them that my case was in transit. I immediately checked the CEAC Tracker and there it was, Ready. Nice little shot of excitement and energy to start of what's going to be a long day after a sleepiness night! :D

 

Now hopefully the American doctor will release those medical records soon. 7-14 business days they said, but we can apparently mail a package 13,000 miles away in 3 days...interesting. :blink:

Congrats on having such an active Embassy :P

Mine forced me to be proactive, because otherwise you don't hear from them until after a week or so of the case being ready on the tracker (they are slow with the processing after the case reaches the Embassy).

Now onto the next steps. Hope the medical doesn't take forever :)

Today is the first day of our VJ timeline estimate!!! So that's very exciting, but it's making me antsier than ever for progress! I called USCIS yesterday and spoke to a Tier 2. He said that they had already done a background check and name check. I don't know if that might mean we're getting closer? But he also said an officer had been assigned to my case when it was first received at the service center. If that's the case, that's a bit scary, because that would leave a lot of time for variability between a slow and fast adjudicator.

 

Anyway, I'm really hoping that the VJ estimate is correct and we get approved in the next few days (although the way the case updates are going, we could possibly not know we had been approved until a week after the fact). I'm hoping I wasn't being overly optimistic in my expectations about when he would be able to enter the country - we were planning on having a Halloween party (partially to celebrate the ending of long distance) and we have tickets to a show on November 2nd! Not to mention I will just be very sad if we have to wait any longer than that to be together.
