Exactly as I thought. You guys can't cite any evidence for the Russian conspiracy theory. So we get to listen to the liberals whine about the Russians for 8 more years with no evidence to back up their accusations. Just like the big Trump tax revelation on the Richard Maddow show. The nerve of Trump. Paying a higher percentage of taxes than Obama. How dare he.

How would 'us guys' have evidence and why would that matter? The point is the senate intelligence committee has asked that a person of interest preserve evidence related to Russian interference. If you missed that you are not even reading properly. The senate intelligence committee is not a liberal organization. I personally don't care whether you have to listen to whining or not, but if you're intent on giving president sideshow a free pass for acting like a clown, I suggest you get used to it.

I would like evidence regarding:

1.  How many U.S. voters' votes were changed as a result of Russian meddling;

2.  How many U.S. voters were prevented from voting as a result of Russian meddling; and

3.  How many electors changed their votes as a result of Russian meddling.

No one has provided any numbers for these, so far.

Are you on the senate intelligence committee? If you are, it appears that information will be forthcoming. If not, you'll have to wait like everyone else. I would say continuing to give Trump a carte blanche is not going to facilitate that process though. The hypocrisy of giving Trump a free pass on stuff like promising to release his taxes or baseless (apparently) claims of wire tapping and then asking for evidence on any claims of wrongdoing against him is really an interesting phenomenon. Perhaps you can make a rational case for either wanting proof or for letting it go, but you cannot make a rational case for both.

We don't have to wait for the Senate intelligence committee because the head of the House intelligence committee already said there is no evidence. It's already been about 5 months since these accusations began. Given the fact that no evidence has been presented in that time frame and the House intelligence committee is admitting there is no evidence it is pretty safe to say we can put this nonsense behind us now. Unfortunately the butt hurt whiners who still can't accept the fact they lost the election won't see it that way.

This all seems to be right out of Saul Alinsky's book.  Rule number 11:  “If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive.” I for one am fine with an investigation, make everyone keep any shred of evidence, but of course if there is no evidence, then the mantra will be that people destroyed evidence.  "jg" is right, we will be hearing this for the next eight years which we should be used to as we had the same environment from 2001 through 2009.

Right, you guys whined for 8 years. If you complain about whining now, that makes you a whiner and a complainer. Don't be that guy.

If the senate intelligence committee asked Roger Stone to preserve his records, I would guess they are not done yet. You seem to be arguing just for the sake of it here. All the information you need is in the link. They are indeed investigating this. I would agree with you on the point that all this negative talk about the great leader seems to be pushing your emotional buttons the wrong way, but really that is neither here nor there. You have to deal with it like a big boy. People want answers.

So do all politicians.  You don't think Hillary treated or thought of Trump as an enemy?  We all know what she and her close friends did to Bernie.  The only politician not dealing with an enemy is one that is running un-opposed.

My point is that history repeats itself.  The 'progressive" left were complaining for 8 years and the Right was whining about the complaining, then we had eight years of a reversal, and now we are entering the next term (4 or 8 years) of another repeated cycle.  Nothing changes, and never will such as the cycle of politics.  And I agree, it is insane, but it is fun.

No one has provided any numbers for these, so far.

Those answers would have multiple variables and we would debate the results till the cows come home.  We are fairly sure that the answer to 2 and 3 is none. The answer to # 1 is "not zero if you count the fact that a disinformation campaign persuaded at least some voters in swing states to not vote for Hillary.

Are you asking these questions because you feel folks are going to question the legitimacy of the vote or because that  is the only crime that needs investigation?  Would the Russians need to be successful for a crime to be committed?

The questions are:

  1. Was the law violated when details surrounding Russian interference, the now famous Dossier, the potential involvement of Stone, Flynn, Manafort et AL were leaked to the news?
  2. Did Flynn Violate the law when he failed to register as a foreign agent ( Turkey and potentially Russia) ?
  3. Is the dossier full or partially true?
  4. Why did the Trump campaign introduce a plank into the Republican platform eliminating Russian sanctions for their military excursions into Ukraine/Crimea?
  5. Why did Trump ask the Russians to "find Hillary's email" on public television
  6. Russian interference in Central European elections is well documented, what are there scope and goals in other western elections ( Brexit, France, Belgium for starters)
  7. Was there any pay for play with funds from Russian Security and Trump operatives?
  8. Why was Flynn seated next to Putin at the RT Gala?
  9. If the Romanians were has the root of the DNC/ Podesta hackings as claimed by Russia, why was there Cyrillic text embedded in the files distributed by Wikileaks?

How does the US and other Western Governments inoculate their Elections and Institutions from the drip drip drip of hacks, memes, disinformation and interference?

Go ahead and reach out to your congressperson and get them to drop the investigation. Trump has insisted that congress investigate illegal wiretapping of Trump Tower because he lacks the resources to prove this.

He can't find any wiretapping because there was none.

He owes an apology to the American people and to President Obama as well.
