love that the folks here who claim to be impartial or not too wild about trump just completely choke themselves defending him.

I know... That middle of the road seems to veer extremely to the right with every step. I am sure that in some alternate fact reality the middle of the road is a place where you fall of the face of the Earth if you move another inch to the right. LOL

how are they not? why do you think anyone cares about calicats tax returns?

Tax returns are only the business of the filer, and places that require them, like banks which make loans.  And even then, only if the filer chooses to share them.  Not the general public.

I have never looked at any candidate's tax returns, nor do I feel compelled to do so.

only one that's 2 pages to my knowledge.

Then perhaps you should educate yourself.  Get a loan sometime, and see what is needed.  Pages 1&2, with #2 signed.  That's it.  Last years' return was 168 pages for me.  Yet I only have to use 2 to prove income.

The so-called president works for the American people. Since I pay for his salary, I feel I have every right to ask that he shows me his tax returns.

Even Nixon shared his.

Why cant Trump do the same? What is he hiding from his employers?

The original Form 1040, available on the IRS website as well as elsewhere, is three pages and 31 lines long, with the first page focused on computing one's income tax, the second page focused on more detailed documentation of one's income and the third page describing deductions and including a signature area.

There you go, making false assumptions again.  I never asked Obama to show me anything.  I did, however, look at his birth certificates online.  Both of them.

In America, the president works for the people, not the general public.

Nothe one single employer of mine has ever asked to see my return.  They have no legal reason to do so.  Why would I show them?
