Your fantasy world must be wonderful, I bet it has unicorns and pixie dust too.

Personally I prefer reality with rules that prevent us descending in to anarchy.

What happens in your dream world when someone doesn't go along with the "everything's allowed as long as its peaceful" mantra? You slap them gently on the wrist, talk to them about how upset their lawlessness makes you, send them an email using a harsh font?

no, you put them in the unicorn pasture and let the pixies eat them alive. this is actually how pixie dust is made.

There are some libertarians that actually do believe in a more 'open-borders' policy, but something that's tailored and not a free-for-all thing as some imagine. There are also some libertarians that believe the Constitution has no true written authority to do half of the things we do regarding immigration - the concept of free movement was something the founders were attempting to 'correct' or at least examine a little bit in an effort to get rid of the 'Puritan' hold on individual states restricting or suppressing religious liberty or the types of persons who could live there. The subject is a little misunderstood by both sides of the aisle as to what open border means to a libertarian. It doesn't mean not to check people, or not having consequences for not following the rule of law, but it does mean revolutionizing the way we look at immigration and the process that we run it now. We all admit the system doesn't work well and needs fixing.

All systems are tailered you might not like how they are tailored but then you are talking details. Not the principle.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

A 22-year-old who was detained as she was leaving a press conference on immigrants’ rights Wednesday will not get a court hearing before she is deported, her lawyers said.

Dreamer detained by Ice agents while in process of Daca status renewal

Daniela Vargas was in the process of renewing her application for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (Daca), the Obama administration program that temporarily protects from deportation undocumented immigrants who came to the US as children. Vargas was an aspiring math teacher who went to college while under the program. And Bill Chandler, an immigrants’ advocate who knew Vargas well, said she had a receipt showing that her application was being processed.

also, no human being is illegal fyi.

She was Illegal and Illegals are Illegals by definition. They are illegally here and unless they have a valid status they should be sent back. She was out of status from what I heard they so are going to send her back.

i disagree. if they do send her back, i consider it a travesty of the american spirit. also, disgusting to think it's okay to drop a person off in a country they have no life in simply because that is where they were born.

Sorry but she is here Illegally and she WAS under the DACA status but she let that lapse last year. So that was her fault letting it lapse and thus being able to be deported.
