My extension letter is dated 03/16/2017 and my GC expired April 2017, do I make the infopass appointment before 3/16 or do I have until April?

You would probably pay less for naturalization they owe you 20 bucks :D

No I gave the extra twenty in hope to jump the queue! And every time I see people who filed after me get approved I want to slap someone! LMAO

How do you guys come to be aware of the backlog? Is there someplace you can look it up? Thank you.

If you go to the USCIS processing time website, you select the field office instead of NBS. There you would see the processing time for your local field office.

Technically it's $700 for printing mailing and the time spent waiting😂😋

$20 for the gas to get to field office, $100 for the time missed from work, $5.67 for parking, it ads up pretty quickly! ;)

Nothing really. CSC is working November 2016, so we just need to wait.

You are welcome. You are not alone on this journey I am here for you and I will be here for everyone. Since you are a March-2017 VSC applicant you will pretty soon get your approval. USCIS will surprise you :)

March 2017 CSC filer here. I spoke with a Tier 1 that said my husbands case WAS transferred to local office and gave me the Local office it was transferred to.

Spoke to a couple lawyers and convo was:

Me:
I751 transferred to Local Office? Please help answer.
I looked up my status today of my i751 (filed March 2017 at CSC) and it says transferred to local office.  From what i understand they dont do (or arent capable of because of amount of workers) approvals or denials for i751? I have at seen at least 20 people with same transfer just today. Any insight? Thank you so much in advance.

it could be that, or it could be a transfer for interview to be scheduled.

I'm not sure what you mean by not capable of approvals or denials. The I-751 can be adjudicated beginning to end at either the service center, or local office.

Hi there, I wish I had an answer but at this point, anything is a possibility. Interviewing all applicants is not possible due to the workload at the field office. It might be a glitch or a move from CSC to reduce or manage the workload they have. We all shall see but at this stage, I am not expecting anything about ROC and focus on the naturalization. USCIS is doing a system maintenance tonight it might fix few things. It's a waiting game, my friend.
