I just received email "USCIS Acceptance Confirmation" after 8 days. Packet arrived there on March 13, 2017. What that means exactly? From now on they are checking everything? I hope there will be none but, if there is RFE that will arrive before the date for biometric appointment right?

Don't forget though that some applications never make it to the field office and are processed and approved centrally. Mine was like that - we received a notice of potential interview waiver and within a few months the greencard was in the mail.

What is exactly interview waiver?:)

Hey Everyone!

I  posted my AOS package and it arrived at the lockbox on the 13th (it arrived at around 8pm) so maybe received on the 14th?

Anyway, I have found it really useful to know that from this forum there has been a backlog as I've been getting a little frantic with checking my texts, emails and if my check had been cashed!

I'm hoping to hear back from the USCIS soon but I'm really happy to see that most people are getting NOA1s and biometric appointments.

We are the same date :). Mine got there on 13th as well. Did you receive emails? I just did.

@Everyone

Check your case online now. You should be able to track them.

I checked last night and no cases showed up at all and just now every single one around me has updated. So chances are yours will finally be traceable too. My even show the February 27th as the initial received dates lol.

Some applications get approved without an interview. It's what happened to me. I received a letter from USCIS saying I was a potential case for approval with no interview and that's exactly what happened.

The K1 journey:                                                                                                                             The AOS journey:

11/09/2013 - I-129F Packet mailed to Dallas Lockbox                                                                                         06/22/2015 - AOS packet mailed to Chicago Lockbox

02/14/2014 - Case shipped to Embassy, where it waited for over a year at my request                                 11/07/2015 - AOS approved (EAD and AP had already been approved) - there was no interview

05/21/2015 - Interview - Approved

06/19/2015 - Wedding (L)

The ROC journey:

10/12/2017 - ROC packet mailed to VSC

01/21/2019 - ROC Approved - there was no interview

The N-400 journey:

02/16/2020 - N-400 application filed online

02/21/2020 - Paper NOA received in the mail

03/13/2020 - Biometrics

02/02/2021 - Interview & test - Approved

02/05/2021 - Oath Ceremony

I just noticed that my I-485 case status says "Our National Benefits Center location is working on your case.". Does that mean it will actually stay at the MSC or is that the standard message until the biometrics are done? I know that the MSC can also process cases but I'm not sure if this is the normal message at first or not.
