As soon as you have your LND number you can call and book at Knightsbridge.  I would go ahead and call them today if you can and get your appointment booked as they are usually booked about 2 weeks out from the day you call.  As soon as we had our LND number we booked the medical and had no issues.

Really? Ok well that's good, I'm going to give them a call in the morning then. I really want to get the DS-160 filled out whilst I'm in work but i know i cant do that either.

As long as you don't submit the DS-160 until after CEAC says Ready then you can go ahead and get started on it.  You need to write down your Application ID number and you can work on the DS-160, it will save as you go along, and then you can exit out and come back in with that number to finish it and submit it.

So I called USCIS yesterday and requested to speak to tier 2. But I wasn't able to and The person I spoke to was really nice and helpful. Uscis received my reply to RFE on July 17th even though I sent it in much earlier. They said in order for me or my lawyer to inquire I need to wait 60 days. And usually a response is sent out within 60 days after receiving a RFE. It will be that long on September 14th. As I was saying, I called despite knowing this because I am sure people who are waiting for  NoA2 since February can understand my feelings. The person gave me the info that I already knew in a little bit more detail. She said that the website will update on the 15th or 16th this month and they should definitely send me and most of us a respond.

Thoughts? Advice? Because I know some of you haven't even received a RFE and are waiting from February. What are you anticipating from uscis in the next 7 days?

We didn't book our medical until after the completion of the DS-160 simply because that's the order that the London consulate website instructed. The thing is, it didn't matter because it took 1 hour to complete the DS-160 and then we scheduled the medical on the exact same day.

If it's in transit, they use an electronic system, it will be ready in 24 hours or less most likely.
