Our AOS application still says fingerprint fee received on Feb 27th. Not sure when we can call and inquire about it. Weird that you are moving along with AOS and not EAD, and that we're the other way around!

This is perfectly normal. Some people have "fingerprint fee received" for 6-10 months and all of a sudden it switches to "approved.card being produced". Others get "Case is ready to schedule for interview" very fast (like me) but have to wait for another 7-9 months until they actually get an appointment because their field office processing times take so long (also me haha). Others get their interview scheduled pretty much immediately because their field office have fast processing times and it makes therefore more sense to have their AOS send to their field office to deal with it and have an interview rather than leaving it at NBC who gives out the waivers way later.

You're definitely getting an interview. Cases that get interview waivers stay at the MSC for good and the status never changes to ready to be scheduled for an interview. Your case is already at your local office and in the interview queue.

Hey friends, just wanted to say congratulations to all those who are getting updates on their EAD cards!

My AOS has been in "fingerprint fee received" since February 16; I am not expecting an update anytime soon. I have a feeling it will remain the same and I am going to get an interview waiver!

Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!

My local office is Dover, Delaware and they don't even show processing times for them. Although I don't know if they do interviews, I might get sent to Philadelphia if I have an interview! I have no clue lol

I understand the status can still change, however not only am I adjusting from K1 but when I sent my AOS package I also sent wedding photos, proof of joint bank accounts, a lease, bills, and two car titles with both our names. So I feel the odds of getting a waiver are in my favor.

I only sent the marriage certificate.

At that time we neither had no joint bank account nor were our names on bills or the leasing contract. And I think you are not required to send those documents when you file AOS. We got married a couple of weeks after I came to the US.

The only thing I could do was to get a SSN.
