OMG! My interview is 3 days earlier than yours in SF!!! After submitting SR of course.

And I am worried about the same, because we don't have many stuff jointly with both of our names. And we don't have a ring, either. And also we got married after being together for a few months only. But we spend every day together and every night. Let's hope for the best!

Yes, we've been a long way... we deserver it finally!! Good luck!

The automated message at USCIS says our case is still in Lee's Summit. But when I actually talked to somebody (don't know if she was tier 2 or not), she said the case has been transferred to Baltimore. And guess what... Baltimore is processing cases from APRIL 2016. Guess we're in it for the long haul.

So, don't always trust the automated message! Also, hubby's medical will expire at the end of April. Will he be required to get a new one if he hasn't had his interview by then (highly unlikely)?

Yeah I have seen other people post about getting conflicting info. Ours has not been touched since received on August 12th, message says Lees Summit. I can't bring myself to call and ask for tier 2 yet, but our field office in Maine is past our date now..they are processing September 2016. We put in an online request for a status update and are supposed to hear back by April 5th. I know they will ask for a new medical if it's expired by the time USCIS reviews your application. Not sure if they do so at the interview stage.

I submitted a SR on Mar 3rd (for Outside Normal Processing Time).  I received a response letter on Mar 22nd stating "Your application is still pending considerations".  The letter was addressed from USCIS Chicago (101 West Congress Parkway, Chicago, IL)

Today, I called customer service again.  A tier -2 customer service rep called me back telling us that our case had been transferred to Chicago local field office, despite the automated machine says our case still in Lee's Summit.

However the tier-2 rep couldn't give us more specifics such as when the case was transferred to our local office.  Besides patiently wait, I don't see what else I can do at this stage.  Frustrated.

Our case was transferred from Lee's Summit to Baltimore, who knows when. Baltimore is processing apps from last April. If we were going to get an RFE, do you think it would have already come from Lee's Summit? Or could we still get one once Baltimore finally reviews it?

Just so ready to have that green card...At this rate we'll be getting the 10 year instead of the 2 year!

K-1 Process:

12/04/15 - Engaged (L)

12/17/15 - K-1 submitted

12/31/15 - NOA1

02/09/16 - NOA2

03/16/16 - NVC case number assigned

03/17/16 - In transit to consulate

03/22/16 - "Ready" on CEAC tracker

04/14/16 - Received packet 3 by email

04/15/16 - Medical exam

04/28/16 - Interview - Approved!

05/25/16 - POE at Miami

07/08/16 - Married! (L)

08/09/16 - Filed for AOS

08/12/16 - Case received

Hello Guys

i had my interview on the 20th March 2016 and everything went well as we took enough photos and these documents with our names on them ;

Lease

Furniture Rental Agreement

Car insurance

Tax return 2016

Cable Bill

Marriage Certificate

Also with other necessary documents  like passports , 1 94 and birth certificates

The officer told us we got all he needed and medical was good BUT we got RFE as he requested for a copy of divorce degree of my wife which we rushed home , got it and dropped it at USCIS office same day .

We got home and my status on 1-485 changed to " INTERVIEW COMPLETED AND CASE MUST BE REVIEWED " Its been stuck on this for three weeks now .

I have two questions ;

HOW LONG DO I NEED TO WAIT ?

COULD THIS DELAY BE AS REGARD THE RFE??

Hi! Sorry for not posting about my interview, I've been very busy.

We had it last Friday in SF at 8am. We went there by 7.45, waited for like 10 mins and got called in. The guy was young and gay like us and the interview was very smooth. He asked us to raise our hand and oath, then asked me questions about address, if I was part of a terrorist group.... my wife's date of birth... Then he asked both of us how we met, we told him very detailed story of our relationship and then he took some photocopies of our new lease and looked at our photos. He said he had to look more at my application and 5 seconds later he whispered that he was going to approve us. He said the greencard would arrive in 30-90 days (lie, it arrived after 6 days) and while he walked us out he said, "see? it's not as bad as everybody thinks, right?".

So yeah, finally it's over for almost two years. Good luck in your process!!!
