When I had my K1 interview I had my documents in sleeves labeled with the kind of documents it was (Proof of Relationship, for example) and exactly what documents was in each sleeve (Screenshots of Skype conversations, Letters of intent to marry etc.).

I would say it helped me to give them the documents they asked for fast. Because instead of having to search through a bunch of documents to find the right one I knew exactly where everything was and could quickly take it out to give to them. But that's just me. I can be very organized, and especially when it's something important. 😂👓

Agreed, when I went for my K-1 visa interview back in 2016 I brought one single folder thingy that looked kind of like a small briefcase, but plastic. It had a handle so it was like carrying a purse when walking to the embassy, very convenient. The inside was like a file organizer with tabs, so it was super easy to find each document the lady in the window asked for. Needless to say the folder contained a lot more than anyone cared to ask for, but better safe than sorry, right? 😆

I didn't have to show the Ds-160 but bring all the necessary documents listed. Better be safe than sorry.

Also don't put the documents in sleeves. its so time consuming. They are gonna request the docs and its pretty quick pased. It didn't take more than 10 min for me.  They do this all day long and its like being on an assembly line. lol

Yeah, guess Ill just bring everything we have 😄 I guess my biggest worry is our affidavit of support as we had to send in a new one prior to the interview, so the original document is in the US with our supporter 😬

We also had to send in a new affidavit of support, where the original was in the US. I just brought a printed out version of it. They didn't even mention it, and everything went smoothly. Good luck!

We have been waiting for my husband's interview to be scheduled in Stockholm.  However, I just read this on their website.  Just wondering...my husband is a Finnish citizen living in Sweden.  Do you think it is possible to switch to the consulate in Helsinki?  Is it worth the hassle to move if it is possible?  Would we be put at the back of the line anyways?  I, like everyone else, am just weary of the delays.

U.S. Embassy in Stockholm Consular Section Closed from January 18 until February 8: Consular and visa services at the U.S. Embassy Stockholm will be closed from January 18 until February 8 for critical renovation work.  During the closure, we will continue to process visa applications and services that do not require an in-person interview, such as diplomatic and official visas, mail-in visa renewal cases, and National Interest Exceptions for valid visa holders and ESTA travelers.  Processing times for these services may be longer than normal.  When we resume limited visa services, priority will be given to humanitarian emergencies and F/M/J student and exchange visitor visa applicants.  Routine visa services at the U.S. Embassy in Stockholm remain suspended due to COVID-19.  If you have a life or death emergency and require visa services from January 18 to February 5, please email us at stockholmniv@state.gov for assistance.

What does it mean they are not processing CR1?

Where did you find this? I can only find this:

“The Consular section of the U.S. Embassy in Stockholm will close for critical renovation work on Monday, January 18.  We will resume limited routine passport and Consular Report of Birth Abroad services on Monday, February 8.  We regret the inconvenience caused by this temporary closure and will process cases as quickly as possible when we reopen to minimize wait times.  Please be aware that due to this temporary closure and public health protocols, our service capacity is limited and wait times may be longer than normal.  We remain OPEN for mail-in passport renewals for adults and emergency assistance to U.S. citizens in Sweden.  U.S. citizens who do not hold a valid U.S. passport and have emergency travel needs may reach out to us by email at STKACSinfo@state.gov to request emergency passport assistance.  Due to public health protocols and limited operational capacity, we kindly request that travelers without emergency travel continue to monitor our website to schedule an appointment time as they become available.”
