No worries, dear! You can start calling NVC at +1(603) 334-0700 two weeks from your NOA2 date to ask if your case has been received. Once it has, you will be given a case number which you will track here: https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx.

Since we have the same NOA2 date, I guess we can start calling around the week of June 5th. :D Most people here report, however, that they got their case number more than 20 days after their NOA2. Well, we can try our luck anyway! :P

Once your case says IN TRANSIT, it means it's on its way to your country, and when it's READY, then the US Embassy in your country has received it and you can now schedule your interview.

CSC:)Check my signature below for the dates. :) @Hannah96 has the same NOA2 date but her NOA1 date is Jan 23, with her RFE and RFE response dates just a few days after ours, too.

Hello.

Congrats for everybody on their approvals.

Our case is 'ready' which means the consulate has recieved it. I would like to know how to schedule my interview. Will the consulate contact me knowing that I don't recall providing my phone number or email adress in any of 129 forms.

Thank you in advance!!

Technically, yes, but since the case tracker is broken, she will not likely see any updates on her case like most of us who were only surprised by our NOA2 in the mail. Been 1 week since we got approved and the case tracker still says "Response to RFE received".

@Emmz If your RFE response was received the week of May 8 or May 15, chances are your NOA2 letter is already on its way to you. My RFE response received date was May 9 and @Hannah96's was May 12 (same week), and we both got our NOA2 on May 22. Just a little more patience, dear! It'll get to ya. ;)

thanks so much @HazeyHaze our rfe response was received by uscis on may 22

You're welcome! If that's the case then there's a good chance you'll get your NOA2 next week. Don't quote me on this, though. Haha! But hopefully you do!

Good luck to her and I'm sure she will do fine. Just tell her to make sure she brings all the required documents, dresses professionally, answers honestly, and is confident. I know she's got this! You'll be with her and her son soon! :D

Btw, we finally got our approval. Thanks for your support!

I'm so happy for you and hopefully you guy will be together soon. Thanks for your help too

Thank you so much! You're a sweetheart. :) I hope our petitions will be at the embassy latest by the end of June. You've been such a help.

I think in Germany I'm only allowed schedule an apointment after I send package 3 back to them. Not sure though

That's true. For FRA it's packet 3 in the mail to us, then send all the documents back to the embassy + payment and DS-160, then an email from FRA to acknowledge receipt and approval of the documents and authorisation to schedule the interview. I'm hoping that part moves quickly!

Congrats everyone and hopefully more approvals to come !

we have got our case number from NVC, and Our case shows as 'ready' on tracking website, which likely means the consulate has recieved it. I would like to know how to schedule my interview. Will the consulate contact me' packet 3 and 4' ? knowing that I don't recall providing my phone number or email adress in any of 129 forms.

or can I schedule the interview online by filling the ds260!

help please!!!

Everything differs by country, particularly as to when you can actually schedule your interview. It looks like you're in Morocco, so the best advice is to check here:

https://ma.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee-visa/the-interview/

In all likelihood, the consulate/embassy will contact you via regular mail; as your mailing address would have been listed on the original I-129F petition.

I was about to tell you that. You do have to fill DS160 for the K1, since that's really a non immigrant visa with immigrant purpose.
