Even i cannot understand whats going on..I really wonder if they review in the order applications were filed? They don't seem to:angry:. Everything is so messed up and disorganised :( My PD is 13 but Nebraska current date is till 9 Dec only so is it possible to talk to a tier 2 operator at this stage or should we wait till PD date becomes current? Any suggestion? we're also thinking of getting congressmen involved as its 9 plus month of waiting for NOA 2. They can at-least make an inquiry. Will that  help move our case forward?

You can call and make inquiry but if your PD date is Dec 13 and NSC is processing Dec 9 then you will be told that your not out of the processing time line. It's funny because I'm Nov and they are just skipping me and others, so I have no idea what's going on.

I noticed that too that ppl from Philippines get approved quickly. Well I was told even with a Lawyer you have to wait same.

That doesn't seem to be the case for me. 294 days and counting :(

Well Tier 2 just called, kept saying that they are working on Dec 9th. I asked him about Florida belonging to USCIS service is Texas not Nebraska. He said I dont know where you got that information from. I told him its your website  USCIS not mine. He said send another inquiry stating that you believe that your case belongs to Texas.

You pointed out the right thing to the officer! Why would they do that? Mine was filed in Dallas and as per their website it should've been in Texas service centre too. Why did they send it to Nebraska in the first place which is already so slow :/ Its so sad to see a lot of Nebraska filers including me suffering  like this

Congrats!! Hopefully we won't be far behind!

Thank you. I hope yours is not far behind as well. I was really getting stress and frustrated with the process, when I saw people that applied in January or February approved before those filled at earlier date. I have called USCIS and I can not believe how rude they sound on the phone, considering that I was asking simple question and was not rude. It seems that a lot has changed, I don't know if they get a lot of call with hostile voice tone. I am happy that our case has been approved, but I was following up with processing dates and  I was going to  try contacting a state rep. or senator to assist.   when we applied I notice previous case months where being transferred out of NSC to other service center like Texas,  then they turn around and send my case to the NSC. I was thinking positively that maybe the work load was decrease in NSC, being the reason they send mines and all others that has been in limbo at NSC. The worst thing is that I live in Texas and sent my application from Texas, why was the application not sent to TCC. Like I said I was stress and frustrated with the process. best of luck.

please if anyone has information to make the NVC process please let me know, hopefully it will not be as stressful

Hi everyone, I have a question about the Affidavit of Support.

NVC is asking for a tax transcript from last year or the three previous years. I only have the one from last year 2016. I wasn't required to file before that. The problem is that in last years transcript I didn't meet the federal poverty guidelines (I only worked 6 months). I so happened to have a gotten a promotion at the end of last year Nov 2016. So now I make more than what they ask for. Which means that I don't need a joint sponsor because my income alone is sufficient enough. That's this years income however and they ask for last year. Do I still need a joint sponsor or what can I do? If anyone knows how to help, please do so. Thank you so much!

Tax transcripts are used to demonstrate that you have filed taxes as required. You will include pay stubs to demonstrate your current income. You should be fine with just you paystubs from the last few paychecks to demonstrate that you are above the threshold. If you are worried, just include more paystubs to help show that the income is steady.
