WERE YOU ABLE TO COMPLETE DS260 AHEAD OF TIME BEFORE GETTING THE PAYMENT RECEIPT?

IM NOT ABLE TO HAVE THE LINK AT ALL, I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY? IT EVEN IT SAYS YOU CAN SEMI COMPLETE IT BUT WHY CANT I OR AM I LOOKING IN THE WRONG PLACE?

You can't access on the DS260 until the payment posted is paid. On the site they're are 6 steps to be followed what's should be the next steps and what documents/supporting documents need to be send to NVC

Hi Kabayan ?, I also got the NVC welcome packet and now have access to payments. I asked this question on a separate thread but haven't got any answer thus far. ?

How do you forward the requirements from your parents to NVC? I mean do they have to mail you the photocopies or can they just scan and email them to you then you print them out and mail to NVC?

They can scan it and send it to you via e-mail. Photocopy is okey but they need to bring the originals during their interview.

The welcome letter states just copied be sent to them so I would say them emailing them to you would be alright for you to make the packet. Once the person has their interview, ther Will have to take the originals. or am I wrong in stating this? Someone else knows about this?

I had my mom scan and email her documents to me,  which I'll submit to NVC. I will be sending copies and the original of my documents (birth certificate,  naturalization certificate,  etc)  for her to take to the interview,  as they will require them at the embassy.

Thank you all! :)

I'm petitioning both my parents. Do I have to mail their requirements in separate packets, or can I send mom's docs, dad's doc, and AOS docs all in one envelope?

They have different case number? If so You need to send it separately, on the documents checklist you can see the case number for your mom and dad.

Yes they have different case number. What I'm thinking of doing is put their respective requirements in separate folders/binders then put both binders in the same envelope, but I wanted to see how others mailed theirs.

Thats a good idea as well. You're sending it anyway in one address. ???

Wow that's surprising, good for you, glad to hear Nebraska is speeding up!

Nebraska is moving in a way. I received an I-797C Notice of Action, yesterday that my case was transferred to Texas Service Center 'to speed up processing'. My NOA1 is Oct 4, 2016. Let's hope this helps.

Unfortunately, as far as i know, no you cant request for visa application transfer.

Our case was transferred from Nebraska to Texas Service Center last week. We did not request the transfer, but the Notice states it is to 'speed up processing'. I was told that when an office is backed up, they transfer the cases to another office. Our NOA1 is 10-04-16
