I know, right? I wonder what the process really looks like. Is 1 case taken care by just one person at the filing office? Or one checks it, then send each form to different people to check them... Or... How? ?

I think they review the case in it's entirety first and send any RFE or RFIE at the end of the review. This is why most people get a quick approval after USCIS gets the response back and they have a chance to check it.

I definitely hope this is the case. It would mean that we won't have to wait too much longer after we send in our response and that we don't have to worry about getting another one. I'm assuming they'd send all of them together instead of sending one, waiting for the response, and then going "oh wait! There was something else!"

Yup that's my story. I tried to file for both at the same time but I only had grounds to expedite the AP.

It's great how supportive a lot of people are on this forum.

 

I really need my EAD in the next month. I'm on day 99 but just had an RFIE in December. Was quickly resolved so hopefully won't add too much of a delay.

Finally after 106 days I received an update card ordered. I was growing real impatient a  total of three service request and no RFE. I am not certain what was the delay because cases as far as 20,000 receipt numbers above mine were receiving updates from last week. I hope to have my card in hand by some time next week. The journey continues  All the best to everyone still waiting on updates

Got a notfication that my EAD was mailed to me on Wednesday (NOA1 11/16), and  was wondering if anyone got the "Card Was Picked Up By The United States Postal Service" status update, or if it is just going to stay at Card was Mailed to Me ? My service center was MSC. 

 

Asking because I am signed up for myUSPS, which sends me a text everytime a package comes my way, but I still haven't received any notification from them and my EAD was apprently mailed 2 days ago...
