Just got my interview date ? Now I'm nervous how on earth am I going to ensure the babies behave for that long

May 5 - I-130 Received

June 17 - RFE Received

August 4 - NOA2
October 3 - USICIS sent to NVC
October 12 - NVC received (69 days in limbo)
? - case number assigned
? - AOS bill paid
? - call NVC to review DS-261 and get IV invoice unlocked
? - IV bill paid
? - submit DS-260
? - send IV/AOS package
? - scan date

? - cc

? - interview date

Electronic processing and lots of calls to NVC to stay on top of things. Just lucky I was processed through USCIS Texas Service Center too. No expedites.

Please send my way some of your luck. that 6 weeks wait is no joke.

I see you had an expidite at the NVC. I have one as well but an emergency didnt come ip until we were already at 8 weeks processing. So our case was sent straight to the consulate and they have it since Friday afternoon. In your experience how long after they received your case at the consulate did you receive your interview date?

CR-1 Time lime Peru to Miami! Currently living in Peru with my husband.

I'm Cuban-American Husband is Peruvian

9/13/15- met my husband while I was working here as a Nurse

11/29/15- He proposed! :luv:

12/19/15- Our civil wedding (excited to have our religious ceremony with family in the US) :wub:

3/7/16- Sent our packet

3/11/16- NOA 1

Lots of impatient waiting! :bonk:

7/22/16- NOA 2 (I could not beleive my eyes!)

8/1/16- Case sent to NVC

8/12/16- NVC received (I had to call to get supervisor to send welcome letter)

8/19/16- was when I called NVC to figure out if they received it

8/22/16- Received case number

8/23/16- Paid AOS

8/26/16- DS-261

9/1/16- Paid IV

9/6/16- DS-260

9/8/16- sent both packets

9/9/16- NVC received

9/12/16- NVC scanned

10/11/16- Received false checklist DS260 missing- they said it was mistake

10/25/16-Supervisor review

11/1/16-Expedite approved when documentarily complete

11/10/16-Checklist-we pleaded with consulate to just accept our case and review missing documents diring interview

11/16/16- Case Complete and sent to consulate- Finally- this was the most exhausting wait :dead:

11/23/16- Interview date received :dance:

1/4/17- Interview not before christmas but at least we got one!

0/0/17- Visa received

0/0/17- POE fee paid

0/0/17- Travel to US POE Miami

0/0/17- SS# received

0/0/17- Greencard received

In the home stretch!!! :dancing:

Guys maybe a silly question, but how can I find out my exact scan date? My package is on its way to NVC.

December 2009 - First met.

February 2010 - Start of our relationship <3
January 7 2016 -Our Wedding in a romantic town of Aeroskobing <3

April 1 2016 - Sent CR1 package to RapidVisa.

April 18 2016 - CR1 Package delivered to USCIS Phoenix lock box.

April 22 2016 - Acceptance notification received by email. Case sent to Nebraska Service Center.

May 03 2016 - NOA1 hard copy received.

May 24 2016 - Return to the US to reestablish domicile.

August 3 2016 - Case transferred to Texas Service Center.

August 29 2016 - I-130 approved! (NOA2) <3 <3 <3

September 30 2016 - NVC Recieved.
November 14 2016 - Sent AOS and IV packages to Rapidvisa! :D
November 29 2016 - SCAN DATE!
February 15 2017 - Case Complete at NVC (11 weeks)
March 28 2017 - My Interview Day! :D (APPROVED!!!)

Guys maybe a silly question, but how can I find out my exact scan date? My package is on its way to NVC.

The only way to know for sure is to call them a few days after it has arrived. I also received an email a week later telling me what my scan date was but not everyone receives an email so I wouldn't rely on that method for information on your case. The best way to deal with the NVC is always to call.

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

 

Now a US citizen!

Showing N/As as of 10:36AM on 11/21. Scan date was 10/4. That's 1 month and 17 days, or 6 weeks and 6 days. Woohoo!!! Hope many other people waiting get them today too!!!

Calling now to confirm.

Congratulations!! Wish you the best in the rest :D

My scan date is 5/10 so this is glad tidings :)

Good new week everybody,

I hope we hear good news this week. I called today about my case and the standard answer is it can take up to 6 weeks to review the documents. scan date Nov 09

Did you use e-mail processing for your documents? Or did you mail them the old fashioned way?

I-130

May 14, 2016: Sent I-130 Package to Chicago Lockbox

Oct 21, 2016: NOA2 Notice by App (LIN)

 

NVC

Nov 8, 2016: NVC Received

Nov 16, 2016: Case Number Assigned

Nov 18, 2016: DS-261 submitted and AOS fee paid

Dec 5, 2016: NVC Scan Date

Dec 6, 2016: NVC 3 N/A and Case Complete on Phone [1 day later!]

Dec 13, 2016: NVC CC e-mail

Jan 23, 2017: Interview...Approved!

 

Removing Conditions

Nov 2, 2018: Sent I-751 to Arizona Lockbox 

March 3, 2020: Approved by CSC

 

N-400

Feb 2, 2020: File N-400 online

Feb 25, 2020: Biometrics
