I disagree others have refiled and have got the visa . But I think you need someone who has experience and legal counsel to do it right so you not wasting time and money several attempts.

If there is one thing I've learned going through the immigration process and hearing the stories from other people, is that hiring an immigration lawyer is a waste of money most of the time (unless you have to file 601 waiver).

I think the response you got from your inquiry about your case was sent back to US is false .. your case is still at embassy and it's under administrative processing . The medical exam hasn't expired yet also your original documents .. you will hear good news very soon .. I hope so

I got a flag on CEAC.gov when I checked mine says AP for review so if you check that website it will tell you status but it's not accurate because some don't update until after case done completed is what I hear

Mine at ceac us still shows AP..and email received shows a letter stating. Petition returned.

Diplomatic pouch number.. is this the number you re talking about .. 202 663 1588.. if so try to call it.. and find out about your petition .. cr1 visa does not expire ..t think you can track it calling this number. Otherwise you will hear or get an answer about your petition .. the longer is 6 month .. sometimes a little longer..

I received the email after emailing embassy on up date after requesting another sponsors paperwork.embassy requested... an i could not figure out why then a denial

i tell them to refile as that is what i did and we got our visa

i followed what USCIS told me to do and refiled

you do not know the casa embassy like i do

many have refiled 5 times thru this embassy / they may not post on here or be in VJ but they are freinds and we keep in touch

You had to re file because you were denied a K1 which is totally different, understand that.

OP is doing a CR1. You need to understand USCIS procedure because the embassy is not involved once a petition is returned.

I have pointed that out several times to you but you still give wrong re file advice for CR/IR cases.

For K1 = re file.

For CR/IR = follow the review process as outlined by USCIS procedure. Your embassy is irrelevant at this point as it is now

i think you misunderstand me , some need legal advice, some don't the paperwork a breeze, but to say just wait it out that's really not good advice, some laws have changed in the last two years let alone 5 or six years so what affected you may not help that person. Being proactive and seeking all the help you can is good thing . No jabbing at people just not accepting being told to wait another 2 years. The USCIS return process has not changed, the only thing that changed is the time the entire re affirmation

process takes, from 4-6 months 10 years ago to 12-18 months currently. You can be proactive by trying to find the reasons for refusal

which OP is doing and correcting it and gathering more bona fide relationship evidence through more visits.

You can not speed up the process and time it takes the backlogged USCIS to review cases.

Returned petitions are send back with diplomatic pouch numbers.

It takes about 6 months for USCIS to look at it and then another 6-12 months for them to review the NOID/NOIR response you will send them.

Not 6 months for the entire process.
