I checked the iPhone USCIS case tracker app and saw that when I search cases within 500 records of mine then I sort by date then I could see 1 case was updated yesterday saying 'card was mailed' to them

which app is that?

for the others - it makes sense, ltos of people have applied in October when USCIS accepted the filing dates for GC AOS application - they must have been super busy!

Okay so my husband received his EAD card on Christmas Eve... However they mis-spelled his last name. Ahh! We called into USCIS yesterday and they're going to expedite the augment, the officer said I will receive a reply in 5 business days on next steps. I just logged into uscis.gov and here is the latest on this:

12/28/2016

On December 28, 2016, your request to have your case expedited, referral number T1Bxxxxxxxx, was completed.

12/28/2016

On December 28, 2016, we sent a response to your request to have your case expedited, referral number T1Bxxxxxxx.

12/28/2016

On December 28, 2016, your request to have your case expedited, referral number T1Bxxxxxxx, was assigned to an officer for response.

Given it says it was completed, does that mean that they corrected their mistake? Has anyone experienced this before?

Thanks!

Read at the top it says persons who received NOA1 on 10/15. VJ uses the 90 days. My PD is 10/14 but I received NOA1 10/27 so in about 2 weeks I'll be at 90 days

The timelines on here are not really reliable, honestly. It's just based of people's timelines when they update their approval and it gives a summary on what date USCIS might be working on.

01/13/2016: I-129F filed  07/15/2016: K-1 visa in hand
10/13/2016: Filed AOS + EAD/AP.   07/07/2017: Permanent resident (Conditional)
04/16/2019: Filed ROC  11/17/2020: Approved. (10 yr GC)

Naturalization
09/02/2020: Filed (Online)    09/08/2020: NOA1: (NBC
10/22/2020: Biometrics Reuse Notice.  12/22/2020: Online Status Changed to Interview Was Scheduled.
01/29/2021: N-400 Interview - PASSED! 01/29/2021: Same-day oath ceremony.

That timeline is just an estimate. Take the 90 days a s your guideline. I filed 10/05 and still haven't had any news. I filed a service request on day 76 and got a response that it was still being worked on and that the case was within normal processing times. Today is day 85 for me so I should get an update within the next 5 days.

11/08/16: Biometrics

11/22/16: RFIE received

12/14/16: I485 Case is ready to be scheduled for interview

12/19/16: Service request for I765 (day 76)

12/23/16: Letter in mail stating that I765 is within normal processing times

01/03/17: EAD card in production (day 91) later changed to Case Approved

They get their processing times from USCIS and the website has not been updated since November 16th. Something is wrong with the system maybe because they are preparing it for the upcoming new year so just because things are not being updated electronically, it does not mean that things are not moving. Do not be discouraged. I am almost certain that January 2nd ppl will be receiving a lot of news.
