Hi, you will have plenty of time to set up for January or February. The only way to know is to fill out the DS-160 and pay the visa fee then schedule your interview with the Manila Embassy. Make sure you set up your Medical appointment at least a week in advance, preferably 10 days. So you should coordinate with your fiance on what day to schedule. The guides above will help you finish the process to schedule your interview, just search for Manila Embassy k-1 appointment.

Hi Judee, First of all you said "husband" I know in the Philippines it can be common to refer to your BF or fiancee as husband but do not do that around the US Embassy or they may think you are already married.

You have posted to a K-1 forum so I assume you are doing Fiancee visa.

Before you schedule anything your fiance will need to get your MNL number from the NVC.

http://dennyeyberg.wixsite.com/filipino-am-visa/second-step

He needs to start calling them about 14 to 21 days AFTER Dec 6th if that is when he received the NOA 2.

So tell him to call by the 21st of December and every other day after that until he gets the MNL number from them.

Once you have the MNL number then you can do the steps that JavaDown posted above.

Good luck and congrats.

Where in the Philippines are you from?

Jim

Where I see my NCV number

I think you mean NVC - National Visa Center.

Good morning Anonino

Not sure if you are looking for the number to call NVC or just wear to find it.

You have to call the number below and they will give it to you.

It is NOT on your NOA 1 or NOA 2 that number is from USCIS

NVC is different place and they issue their own numbers.

Don't wait for them to mail you anything.

Just call Below.

Hope this is what you are looking for.

With that number you can then fill out your DS-160.

Jim

(603) 334-0700
To check the status of your application after receiving instructions from the National Visa Center, send an e-mail to NVCINQUIRY@state.gov, call in the United States(603) 334-0700, or write to: 32 Rochester Ave., Portsmouth, NH 03801-2909

Sorry if I made it even more confusing for you, For some reason I was thinking you had the NVC number....but it's still possible to receive it by the end of the month. It took us almost 3 weeks from approval to getting confirmation of NVC number. Again, sorry for making it even more confusing, patience is a must with this process.

Congrats! 20 days from NOA2 to NVC is pretty good. Hopefully your case is in transit to your fiance's embassy soon. Be prepared to wait a bit for this step, too. It's already been a week since our case went from "At NVC" to "In Transit".
