I just got thru once again the first try. TO THE SECONDARY NUMBER that I've been posting that people keep ignoring.

Thanks man , i tried this one but the machine voice says i need to have her passport number ready, she is still processing her passport at the moment :wacko: but i just want to check if we have a case number

All you need is NOA2 notice number and your name and her name to get a case number.

Thats what I've been TOLD anyway. When I called last week (and got in the first try) they asked for NOA2 number and said "Sorry - We do not have your case yet"

No one asked for her passport number.

All you need is NOA2 notice number and your name and her name to get a case number.

Hello!! We just got our case number from NVC after exactly 3 weeks from NOA2. (nov 21 - dec 12). I'm so excited!!! Hopefully I will be able to schedule the interview for early January. :-)

ROC (I-751)

06/24/2019 - Shipped via FedEx

06/26/2019 - I-751 Received by USCIS

07/01/2019 - Money order cashed/paid.

07/02/2019 - Text received with MSC case number on my cellphone.

07/03/2019 - Extension letter (18 months) received in the mail dated 6/28/2019.

May I ask how to check if the USEM already received the package? Can I continue on the DS-160 now It was all so sudden! We agreed not to talk about it much to avoid stressing on waiting and now it just happened! waaaaa!!

Sure. Use the CEAC immigrant visa status check. You can also contact the embassy after 1 week has passed to see if they've received it yet.

Anyone having issues contacting the NVC? when i call (603)-334-0700 it just hang up like no dial tone. We are hoping they have our my case number by now or am i dialing the wrong number?

Try calling back right at 7 AM or after 11:30 PM.

I just tried the number and it said "Your call can not be completed at this time please try again later."

Congrats! Now that you've received your case number you can track it on the CEAC website. My status went from "in transit" to "ready" less than 24 hours after receiving my case number.

Unfortunately our consulate won't let us schedule or pay until petition is there. :(

So i will have to wait about 2 weeks to be able to pay and schedule.

I just called it right now - had a 2 minute wait....

They asked for the NOA2 number - I gave it and they just told me they received the case this morning - but no case number yet. They said to call back in 2 WEEKS! LOL - You'll be hearing from me in about 3 hours. LOL

One time to call, a two minute wait. No calling in a 2:00am, fighting the busy signals.... just one call, 2 minute wait... and fantastic news.
