Didn't you post this article in another thread or didn't another member post this article in another thread?

It's funny you use crime, which is a small percentage of our population as an excuse to justify discrimination and systematic racism against black people but you don't apply this same logic to the Philippines.

Did discussing this strike a nerve on your harmonica?

But yet every time we point out muslim atrocities world wide you and your echo chamber tell us about all the crime in the US

Interesting

Do you have kinship with lying Ted?

What we say and continue to say is it isn't right to generalize, stereotype and discriminate against people because of the actions of others. So you can unwind your pretzel of untruth and stop deflecting

I lived in the Philippines and the are many things I love about it but I'm glad I'm not there now.

I wonder just how many innocent people are going to die.

##Still waiting to hear how Obama caused all the violence in Chicago.

Exactly! When the penalty is death innocent people will always end up in the mix because of human error or downright human cruelty.

Blaming the country's problems on "drugs" is a scapegoat. Instead of finding real solutions to real problems, it feels good to think that drugs are the big problem and that killing the offenders will lead to good things. Easy to understand. It takes the difficulty of nation building and packages it into something easily digestible and transfers ill feelings to a unified (though misleading and dangerous) purpose.

I still believe he is murdering people who oppose him and this killing drug dealers and offenders is a cover. My little conspiracy theory on the issue.

4. Chinese aggression in the West Philippine Sea.

This won't be an issue anymore.

The Philippines would stop patrolling the South China Sea alongside the U.S. Navy, to avoid upsetting Beijing.

And Duterte already asked US special troops to leave, don't want to buy F-16 jets anymore (waste of money).

Instead to buy weapons from China and Russia.

Done with K1, AOS and ROC

He is not a fan of the U.S. his EID speech blaming the U.S. for problems in the middle east was a clear indicator. I forsee USCs not being able to travel to the Philippines soon. And let's be clear, we've never had the best of relations with China and Russia. That's why he's aligning himself with them. Giving up the south sea is a small price to him.

MANILA — In an extraordinary hearing in the Philippine Senate, a witness claimed Thursday that President Rodrigo Duterte paid him to carry out executions that involved feeding a body to a crocodile, chopping up corpses and dumping slashed bodies into the sea.

The witness, Edgar Matobato, 57, spoke to Filipino lawmakers at Senate hearings investigating a recent wave of extra-judicial killings that has claimed more than 3,000 lives as part of the president’s anti-drug campaign.
