I called Nvc and lady told me that your case just entered. Please wait for email or welcome letter from Nvc. It can take time to generate fee. I am Confused now?

You need to wait for the e-mail from NVC with case number. Then the AOS fee will be unlocked and you can call them again to have the DS-261 reviewed - after they review DS-261, the IV bill gets unlocked.

Just try again until you get a nice representative. I usually call either 7am or before midnight. My welcome letter came 2 weeks later which i am already done with AOS fee and IV fee.

Hi everybody! I'd just like to ask when will be able to pay our AOS fee? I've already filled the DS-261 earlier

Hey guys, just got my case and ID Number and chooses the agent , its says next step is to allow 2 weeks before proced , what should i do next ? Wait 2 weeks or call them to unlock affidavit and IV Fee so i can pay them ? Need details please ..thank you all for the help..GOD bless you all..

You can choose the agent and you can pay the AOS fee bill but you can't get your ds-261 choice of agent reviewed until you receive a Welcome letter on your email from NVC, even if u called NVC they will say to you to wait for the welcome letter email before they can review your DS-261 and AOS and unlock the IV fee bill for you.

I guess my experience was totally different from most of us. Hope both of you would receive your welcome letter soon and move forward. God bless us all in our journey

Just got off from the phone. Lady agreed to do review but then she said we just recieved your case and you have to wait for welcum letter from nvc, which can take upto 4 weeks. I dont know why so much delay:(

Guys did you just receive the case number? If yes, it takes a few days for the AOS to be invoiced.

When you receive the welcome email that is the first indication that the AOS is ready to be paid.

If you're able to pay the AOS go ahead and do so. Please call NVC to review the DS-261 so the IV can be unlocked.

I finally got 3 N/As! I'll call in the morning to confirm. No idea whether my congressman did anything on my behalf. SO relieved. 53 days from scan date.

Awesome, now you can go ahead and send all the require documents. You don't have to wait till you pay IV fee.
