We were 9 1/2-10 1/2 hours apart depending on daylight savings. India is not only an hour difference but also a difference by 30mins too. He's over there right now visiting so we have that time difference again!

Married since 9-18-04(All K1 visa & GC details in timeline.)

 Generally same here (I live in EDT zone), except for during 2004/01/10 - 2004/06/22 when I lived in Memphis (CDT, 10 1/2-11 1/2 hours).

Choices really should have been:

  • 0-3
  • 3-6
  • 6-9
  • 9-12
  • more than 12

Anyway, I was just curious about how other people cope with the time differences. So?

Marcos and I have 7 hours difference between us. Usually we are able to chat early morning (or talk using Yahoo, since he is not currently working) and then again before he goes to bed at midnight for him and before dinner for us! I just want to say that we get a lot of time to talk and it's becuase of yahoo.. we call computer to computer and can talk for free (on the weekends we talk for HOURS :) ) He is also able to call me for 1penny a minute on my cell phone using yahoo too. In addition there are text messages and e-mails (though rare from him LOL) It has been such a blessing!! We are in commuication most of the time (L)

Him being in California and me being in central Europe, we have 9 hours in between us.

Apart from the obvious down side of not being together :crying: , this time difference works good for me as we can communicate in the morning and in the evening my time. I'm not distracted too much from work and studies during the day. On the other hand, I always bug him at work  , but he doesn't mind at all (of course).

I was so confused during the past two weeks when the USA changed to Daylight Savings Time while Europe kept the winter time until last night. We had an 8-hour difference and I didn't like it at all, I never caught him up in the evening (his) when I woke up in the morning (mine)...

Anyway, I was just curious about how other people cope with the time differences. So?

Since daylight savings time, there is an hour difference. In the winter it's the same time both places.

Same time zone. She is 2 miles away.

 Huh ?
