Some examples of proof:

Do you have any bills that are US based, such as a cell phone?

Valid drivers license/ own a car in the USA?

Are you on the lease or deeds with your USC wife?

Did you visit during breaks in study, if not why not, and did she visit you?

While in the USA I was sharing the phone with mu hubby who was the petitioner. And he changed it to my name. I did not see the need of getting a phone as I did not have friends except one or two.But he pays the phone bill. I do not own a car and only got learners license. I am not on lease or any deed with him as we were staying with in laws while there. During the 8 months here he could not visit due to a major medical issue. I have ATM card of shared bank account, learners driver license. While there I had a job for about 3 months and quit as it was not paying well. I have no idea what else to gather. Thanks for your input.

You may get lucky and get no or few questions.

Another side to approach is the "will you stay this time?"; ie show that this was once off, that you plan on settling in the USA now, that you have plans to find a job, move in with hubby etc.

Yes I can show that. Thanks alot:)

We came back in after being out of the US for nearly 8 months. One of the things that helped at POE was they could see we were on one way tickets.

Similar experience and advice to above.

(In fact we had 3 out of 4 be out for 11 months...they seem to understand that new immigrants often need time to settle things up back home before moving properly..I certainly wouldn't try this more than once!)

You said you returned to Turkey to finish your College Education. I don't know how things work, but that is the first thing I would say at POE. And I would have proof that I did indeed attend college during that time.

Again, I don't know how the government thinks about these things, but I know it's easier to complete a degree in the same college than it is to transfer credits to a new college and finish the degree there. So that should help. Showing that you returned for your college, and you're done with that now.
