Hello,

I am currently filing an I-90 as I received my GC but it has an error on my DOB. It's an error on USCIS side (we spoke to them and they confirmed). Now, I'm trying to file out the I-90 but I am having a very hard time. In part 3 it ask;

1. Location where you applied for an immigrant visa or adjustment of status.

2. Location where your immigrant visa was issued or USCIS office where you were granted adjustment of status

I am really lost, I have tried looking around online but I still can't seem to find a certain answer. What am I supposed to write? How do I know in the first place where I filed? I can't remember... My case # starts with MSC, does that mean I should put National Benefits Center, MO as my answer for 3.2? And as for 3.1 what do I put? :/

Complete Item Numbers 3.a. and 3.a1. if you entered the United States with an immigrant visa.

I came in on a K-1 visa. I assume I need to file 3.a and 3.a1 then? My POE was JFK so I write New York??

Thanks in advance, hope someone can help! :)

Hello,

I am currently filing an I-90 as I received my GC but it has an error on my DOB. It's an error on USCIS side (we spoke to them and they confirmed). Now, I'm trying to file out the I-90 but I am having a very hard time. In part 3 it ask;

1. Location where you applied for an immigrant visa or adjustment of status. USCIS Service Center (National Benefits Center if your number starts with MSC)

2. Location where your immigrant visa was issued or USCIS office where you were granted adjustment of status Where did you get the approval from? It will be that office. or If you look at the magnetic strip on the back of your GC, it will have your GC number with the code for the USCIS office. If its MSC, then National Benefits Center.

I am really lost, I have tried looking around online but I still can't seem to find a certain answer. What am I supposed to write? How do I know in the first place where I filed? I can't remember... I came in on a K-1 visa. I assume I need to file 3.a and 3.a1 then? My POE was JFK so I write New York?? K1 is not an immigrant visa, you did AOS in the US so you will skip 3a adn 3a1 since there are not applicable to you.

Thanks in advance, hope someone can help! :)

Hmm, weird, I haven't read that anywhere.. I'd say as long as you download the form from the official USCIS site, you should be on the safe side :)

HI, I've the same question as Arken.  Are the following two locations the same office? I see SRC on my green card which means Texas service center. So is this the location where I applied for adjustment of status or the location that issues me the adjustment. Please confirm where to find these two locations if they are different? I don't have any old paperwork as it was applied by my previous employer. Please help. Thanks very much.

ARB - did you end up figuring out the appropriate information for these two questions? I have the same questions. Thanks!
