I had paid 2 days before my husband POE 6/26. Said PAID all this time. Than on July 9th I got email something was wrong with card and I needed to call in the payment. So on July 18th we called talked to a human gave same credit card number all was fine payment went through.

S its been 41 days since payment when we got the Card produced. The day after USCIS did all their revamping of the website. I see now you can't even access ELIS to see where you are. Only the Case Status and that doesn't appear until they produced your card.

And OMG please don't let anything be wrong with our cards. I am so done right now with immigration I need this 21 month break from them. Actually 18 months to go now until Removal of Conditions. Not that I am counting. LOL ;)

Me too lol I wanna print out the removal of condition and fill them out and let it sit there for 18 months then when the date comes I'll just mail them out. Lol

But hey, I have the same date of Poe as your husband! I guess they're starting the process with end of June Poe!

Nope its a great place. We also got the "Card is in Production" update.

Expect the status to change in about 7 days or so thst "Card is Mailed" it will also give you your tracking numver. But expect card in about 2 weeks.

Woooo whoooo.

The card waiting is just a hit mess people no tracking no information until your card is produced.

How long have you been here? We paid 36 days before we got the message. We paid after he arrived.

What I have seen is people paying after arrival seem to receive their card way sooner than those who pay before. Hmmm just a theory.

I can say that starting october alot of airlines are going to be having cheap tickets because its not the season so I called and got good prices from poland to chicago so not bad

Totally agree! I've been watching prices for Sept and October since my interview will be on September 6th. As for now I'm thinking October 7th, it not back to school nor holiday season, and it's a Friday so hubby can spend more time with me after arrival :P

10/6/13 - package mailed to Chicago Lockbox via Fedex - DAY 0
10/8/13 - package delivered - DAY 2
10/11/13 - Check cashed - DAY 5
10/18/13 - Received NOA1s - DAY 12
10/21/13 - Received biometrics appt letter (scheduled for 11/07) - DAY 15
10/22/13 - Walk-in biometrics successful (Columbus OH office) - DAY 16
11/14/13 - Form i-485 status changed to "Test and interview" - DAY 39
11/22/13 - Expedited AP and EAD approved!! (EAD status changed to "card production") - DAY 47
11/30/13 - Received combo card and two copies of paper AP (weird) - DAY 55
12/5/13 - Interview date updated on USCIS website (Jan 31, 2014) - DAY 60
1/31/14-Rejected Green card because I forgot to mention a previous J1 visa that will require a waiver to apply for an immigrant visa...

WENT BACK TO CHINA TO WORK AND LIVE FOR TWO YEARS, HUBBY STAYED IN THE US FOR WORK.... :crying:

3/20/16-Sent all required materials to NVC
4/18/16-Case Complete
8/10/16-Interview scheduled in Guangzhou, China for 9/6/16
8/18/16-Sealed medical package received (and an X-ray CD)

Same here Im thinking of paying 10days before I leave. Im always forgetting about this fee though
