When they receive and scan in system. When you call tomorrow maybe you will have scan date. It will probably be this week.

As far as your explanation about getting police report why do you need to tell them how you got it? They only care that you have it.

@DWHEELS76 - Thank you. I will be calling tomorrow and see and hopefully they will have my scan date then.

I was trying to say that I was unable to obtain the police clearance from The Gambia because I was unable to get in touch with someone in The Gambia so they can explain to me how I go about getting one. This is the reason why I wrote a letter explaining my efforts and sent it to NVC with my documents.

Does anyone on here have had such an experience in trying to obtain The Gambia police clearance? Did you write a letter and was it sufficient with NVC? If yes, did you had to later on obtain the document still for the interview? Sorry for asking so many questions.

Thank you so much DWheels76 and I appreciate your suggestion. I did message someone on the Gambian portal, hopefully they will get back to me soon.

Yeah, I know this that's why I haven't given up trying to figure out how to get this document. And I do have that email address and phone numbers you kindly found for me which I want to say thank you for. I have tried to call and emailed but have never gotten a response or a reply to my emails. I have been trying to reach someone at the Ministry of Justice since March of this year both by email and phone. I just emailed again hopefully this time someone will reply to my request for information by the start of the work week.

Don't worry about it. I am sure most of them here called everyday after 2 weeks ??? But do wait for 2 weeks else it's disappointing to hear they don't have your case number yet. Let's hope you get it next week ?

Congratulations!!! ??

Thanks...I hope this week is productive because in august I will be visiting my husband and i want to come back with him and soon so we can start our life together. I have put everything on hold until i settle permanently.

and Congratulations Bosna!

Awesome, thanks everyone for the input. If it was indeed case complete so quickly that is only due to the help from so many people here. thamansa, did you get a follow-up email or any contact from them confirming case complete?
