police certificate ,, please help

omG ,, please help today i went to get the police certificate from my city as usual and they ask me for the purpose of it or the place i will give it to ,, and when i told them for US embassy ,, the officer said i cant give it to u , cuz there some country we don't deal with such as US, Israel, Syria, Qatar,and Iran and so i told hem what i can do now he said go to get one from Ministry of Interior in Cairo !!!! and i just have 2 days for my interview ,, plz some one tell me did anyone go throw this or this something new ???

Go back and tell them it's for some other country's embassy (one they "deal with"), if they ask again...

Which might result in getting the wrong kind of certificate. Please check the State Department website and the description of what you need and where to get it (https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/fees/reciprocity-by-country/EG.html) to make sure you were going to the right place and asking for the right thing. Perhaps printing this otu and taking it with you will get the them to provide the certificate.

i get one before when i serve it to NVC and i told them for immigration purpose and the get me one and i send it but in the interview they said i have to get a new one with me and this time i need it for my interview at the US embassy and that what i told them but the wont get me this time and i dont know if i can use the old one cuz i still have it and it was like six month ago .

Go back and tell them the same thing you did when you got it for NVC. Its for immigration purpose. Don't mention US Embassy. You are not lying. You need this for immigration purpose.

Definitely bring a new police record to the interview. They will ask for it and it needs to be recent.

They really can't refuse you so I'm not sure why that happened. We got 2 and in both cases told them it was for the US embassy without problem. I would guess you just encountered a bad apple.

Maybe if you try again on a different day there will be someone else there?

Or you could go to a different location entirely.

That's not true i was issued a police certificate for the us embassy in the head office in Abassiya just a month earlier! I believe the guy in the ministry of interior just wanted to make things look harder for you so he could get a bribe! You just didn't understand him lol

to let everyone knows i cant get the way i want " US embassy" and so i got to say for immigration office and its work and when they asked me for it in the embassy i got it to them and i got no problem for that ,, i was just little worried because i was have just 3 days left before the interview so i REALLY advice anyone to prepared his paper more early cuz no one in Egypt can knows the Government employees action ..so expect the worse from them .. thats all i can say about this ..and thanks for everyone
