Javed can drive. but, he has to learn to drive the correct ways in the USA.

Same as my husband. He "can" drive. He has a valid TX driver's license. But I, nor he, am comfortable with him behind the wheel just yet...

I drive very well but "Moscow-style" - i.e. very fast and not always obeying the rules. :) I'll have to discipline myself once I relocate!

Oh and my car is from Japan, so the wheel is on the right. Not many of those can be found in the U.S. I suppose?

J can drive, but I think he drives badly. Then again, this morning I ran a stop sign. Good thing the 5-0 wasn't around! Hahaha. I actually felt really bad about this.

8/25/03: Phoned border guards & asked if J could escort me back to IA, yes.

8/27/03: Went to USCIS local office to ask if J could stay in the US and file papers, yes

I drive, and did in the UK, although sometimes I think it would be a safer place if I didn't!!

Not as bad as Claudeth though - I haven't driven anyone's Mustang into anything!

Make sure you're wearing clean knickers. You never know when you'll be run over by a bus.

Just wanted to know how many foreigners can drive a car.

And drive well enough that if possible could go to the DMV and get license just after leaving the airport.

Jomo's been practicing on a permit for a few months now. He's going to try the test tomorrow.

My fiance is from Nigeria and yes he can drive. When I went to visit him there he had a car and he drove me everywhere. And I must say if you can drive in Nigeria you can drive anywhere especially in Lagos. I have been driving most of my life here in the U.S. but I would never drive on the roads in Nigeria. :lol:

March 7, 2005 Wife left for Istanbul to serve J-1 2 year HRR. Was a very bad day at Black Rock.

June 12, 2006 Noa1

Sept 7, 2006 Noa2 I-130 approved

Oct 10 ,2006 Received fee bill from NVC

Nov 13 ,2006 Received Packet 2 DS-230

Jan 4, 2007 Mailed Packet 2 to NVC

Jan 22, 2007 RFE from NVC aaarrrrgggghhh!!!!!!!!

April 20, 2007 Wife enters through JFK. The days of grabbing my dinners at the WalMart deli....are now officially over!!!

David can drive.... he drives me nuts when he drives, but he drives. He still applies German road rules but has recently graduated from driving my Murano to my Chevy 1-ton dually. He doesn't back it up though. And I'll never let him try to hook it up to my horse trailer. We've already established that. ;-)

I admit to being a control freak though. So when we're together, I usually drive. Much easier on the nerves for all concerned.
