I would say Illegals Aliens in USA the much larger percentage is from entering illegally into USA.

This is a federal crime and carries criminal penalties (fines and jail or prison time). While overstaying a visa is civil and the penalty includes deportation and or bans.

Make the penalty severe enough that they don't do the crime .... That is the rational for a felony conviction for owning a 30 round mag . You put them in jail first then deport. .. If you knew you could spend a few years in jail for entering this country you would think twice.

My coworker and I have debated this alot because he hates Trump and thinks the wall is stupid. how the majority of people are here on a visa and simply overstay. I told him that we want a law because what about the people that come across the border and then are almost automatically released to other parts of the country, caring who knows what diseases (TB, Measles, Zika). All the while the people that immigrate legally have to to be medically screened before they are given a visa. Also not to mention that there are people from the Middle East, China, and who knows where else coming and crossing over the border due to no wall.
