Drum roll please!!!  ANOTHER APPROVAL TODAY!! Our case was JUST approved!!!! Rec'd 4 texts and the website now says "Card in Production"! Finally!!

Hey all, I just want to do recent update, I filed a case status outside normal processing yesterday, and I just got text & email today that my case status is in card production!! Finally.... (my NOA 06/22/16 - CSC). Good luck everyone!

Okay, another question..

 

We just received a text from USCIS today that my husband's new Green Card is being issued today (8/16), however we never got an approval notice of any kind.  Also, we just mailed in his citizenship application, which was received by USCIS on 8/7.  Is this typical?  I've seen a lot of people in the same situation with emails saying USCIS was essentially going to combine the two applications (I-751 and N-400).

 

I'm assuming this will not cause any issues but found it odd as it's not what I've seen happening to others.  Let me know your thoughts and if you think I'm freaking out for no reason!  You just never know with immigration, man.. :huh:

Congrats/Tebrikler! This is pretty much exactly what has happened with my case. I sent my N400 while the I-751 was pending, very shortly after my I-751 was approved and I received the 10 yr card before I gave the fingerprints for N400. Since you never received the approval notice, you could speculate whether the approval happened before or after USCIS received your N400 (in my case I-751 approval was after N400 NOA was issued). In any case good luck with the naturalization!
