After 35 days of waiting for a cc, i got a checklist on passport biographic data page. My wife just got a mail that it was not submitted. So pissed, but i give God all thanks.

You're right in that NVC does only work Monday - Friday and has weekends off. Every agent i've spoken with (trust me when i say i have spoken with a large number of them) has said it's calendar days n

right. count calendar days from when they say scan date. you very well could get case complete either Wednesday or Thursday of this week! Hoping for a smooth CC for you!!!

  • Case Complete: May 31, 2016 (No checklist) :dancing:

August 17, 2016: Visa Approved!!!! :dancing:

Hi guys!

Just got a CC!!! :dancing:

Had received a check list for missing marriage certificate on the 28th of April, scan date was 30th of March. Case was put under supervisor review. My wife just called today for an update and apparently the marriage certificate was there all this time.

We are just so happy to have not lost much time do to the error on NVC's part.

Woohoo!!! 3 N/A's and confirmed Case Complete!

Scan Date was March 24, 2016, so 39 days.

Customer Service rep said emails for June interviews are going out this week. Good luck everyone!

Side note: the country in my profile says Iran (where he's from), but the interview will be in Canada, since that's where he is right now.

Your scan date is the day nvc receive your doc. You can call nvc and ask for a scan date, that's how I got mine.

Thanks will call and find out the date

Around 3-5 days after the NVC receives your AOS and IV packages, they will send you an email with an attachment on it, in the first sentence of the attachment it will say:

"The National Visa Center (NVC) received your documents on DDMMMYY..."

That is your official scan date.

Yes.

But I called NVC yesterday and they told me that my civil documents were entered I'm the system May 2, 2016 then they send me the email this morning stating that they received my documents April 29, 2016 So I am not quite sure which is the correct scan date.
