I saw the photo. She looks like they typical "all American girl" stereotype. Perhaps instead of using a physical mode, they could've just listed requirements. However, if the model was indeed one of their cheerleaders I don't see a problem.

What I did see a problem with was the fact that the girl's face was about 4 shades whiter than her body

I have been to several Huskies games and never noticed an issue with the diversity of the kids in cheer. Usually you solve this problem by using common sense and rotating the images in your collateral material to include all groups.

Here are two bigger concerns:

1. you apparently cannot go anywhere in NCAA athletics without a Nike swoosh
2. encouraging tanning is directly driving up skin cancer rates , but they did not check this brochure with the UW Cancer Care Alliance

Funny thing was I had a few dermatologists over the years that reccomended me to use tanning beds for my eczema. It did work.

There has been some photoshopping done to the image. If this is the girl that they want representing their university squad, I think they should at least have a girl they don't feel the need to photoshop. But basic skinny is never enough for some people.
