given that NVC don't work on weekends, and case complete comes exact same day, 1 month after scan date.

even when they are out of office.

I believe they had a cron job setup that runs through all database records on master database without CC, and checks whether it has CC, if it has CC, it updates CEAC.

don't assume they worked on your case on a weekend.

am expecting CC this evening.

Got LPR status through family in Feb 2017
travelled back to Nigeria in Aug 2017, got married
file i130 for wife and daughter in January 2018
Case transferred from CSC to NSC in July 2019
got RFE in Oct 2019.

next: waiting anxiously for the mail...

This is plain and simple wrong. CC comes after someone has checked into the documents provided to ensure everything is there, not sooner and not later. Just recently, there was quite a big number of people who did not get their CC a month / 30 days after their scan date, but a bit later.

I so agree with you. We have been in relationship for like 5 years now I still don't get it how I managed it this far and I am getting more and more impatient as the days are closer. We all are in the same boat :)

No, it's not just you. I would say we all feel that way. The closer you get, the harder it seems.

called NVC minutes ago, they said it was reviewed on Friday but i need to mail in

the form again as they have issues with the signature (it was actually sign in black ink, i wonder what the issue is), plus the 2015 tax transcript.

i am guessing they misplaced the files.

is it going to be another month wait after mailing them in again?

If you have to mail things to NVC, then yes, it's another 30 days (roughly) from that second scan date :(

Called the NVC again, they apparently haven't begun reviewing my DS260.

Also they keep saying my marriage certificate is missing and recommended me to send it now before they start reviewing the DS260.
