Hi @LinJoe, yes I have signed up for text and email notification. The last notification says your i130 was approved. Its been three weeks and they haven't received my case at the NVC. Btw congratulations on getting your case completed :-)

Hmm, I know the service centers don't send off every petition to NVC individually so sometimes it takes some time. But with 3 weeks without an update on the USCIS portal I'd probably call them (USCIS) to check with them.

Wait, do we need both original birth certificates? I thought the originals were needed for the interview?

Oh! What I meant original as in native language! Sorry. Should've been more specific!

I got my NOA2 in mail and now waiting for letter from NVC.

I just had a question, Birth certificate of my beneficiary doesn't include last name. Although it includes parents last name. Is this going to be an issue?

This may not be the norm, but it happens. It happened to us. We received NOA2 on 12/1 but our case status wasn't updated on the USCIS portal until a little after 3 weeks later, once the file was sent off to NVC. NVC didn't receive our case until 12/30 so it took almost a month for us from NOA2 to get to NVC. Amren hopefully that ease your mind a bit. I'm sure it will be sent off soon, keep us posted. :)
