RFE question

Hi everyone -

I submitted my K-1 petition and received an NOA1 on 03/11/16. I still have over a month to wait on my NOA2. In my application, I've included a copy of my divorce decree, a copy of my fiancée's certificate of no marriage (Philippines), a copy of my US Passport, and a couple of pictures of us together. Do you all think this will be sufficient enough NOT to get an RFE?

Well, there were many more documents to have been submitted but yes if you meant to ask about these specifically.

Did you also included the other relevant documents, such as a statement each of your intentions to marry, and the G-325a forms?

well if those are the onliny things u included then your going to get a rfe because u didnt send two completed 325a forms and two intent letters , be prepared to get those ready when u get the rfe

As stated above, you are missing quite a few documents:

statement of intent to marry, proof of having met in the past two years (im not sure if the pictures you provided were dated), G325As, passport sized photos, and evidence of an ongoing relationship (chats etc.)

One more question: Do you know how long it takes for them to send the NOA2 after receiving the RFE reply? It would suck to wait another month.

I believe its usually 2-3 weeks but, sometimes more.

Depends on the individual adjucator handling your case. One month is usual.

However all that said for the quantity of documents that you did not supply, I wouldn't at all be surprised if they didn't deny your petition altogether.

I believe OP just started the process and sent the initial I129f form. According to his timeline, he is not yet at the AOS stage.

you also needed 2 passport photos of financee and the fees, copy of her passport

check the guidelines for K 1

You must present the following supporting documentation
with your petition:

Evidence that you are an American citizen, such as your Birth Certificate or Naturalization Certificate.
Proof of termination of any prior marriages of the petitioner and beneficiary, such as a divorce decree or death certificate.
Evidence that you have met your Fiance and evidence of your relationship, such as airline tickets, visa stamps, hotel receipts, and dated photos.
