Question guys------

Has there been anyone on here that in the online case status for the I-485 it said "it is ready to be scheduled for interview we will let you know" from the beginning but then it was approved with no interview?? Just wondering what my chances are for that to happen.

Had my interview today.. everything went smoothly. I was only asked to show my passport and my husbands. (he doesnt have his US passport, going in tomorrow to get one but it was ok with his naturalization certificate.), my medical. The officer only briefly looked thru my passport and didn't touch my husbands certificate. He also asked to have some proof of us living in same address, like bank statements etc.
He then asked how did we meet and told him the story he was saying "nice." After that he and my hubby where talking about other unrelated stuff so I would say ours was pretty easy and simple :)

Got my acceptance letter and now waiting for the GC.

Hi there,

Our dates are close to yours, and interestingly enough we are both in the DC area. We are adjusting from an F1 student visa if that matters. USCIS received our package on April 13, and our NOA date was April 19. We submitted a 75 day service request on June 28 and were told on July 13 that our case was under review. Our I-485 has been ready to schedule for an interview since June 13, and we did not receive a RFE or RFIE. Our EAD and AP case numbers are returning validation errors and a separate service request in May for that issue was ignored. We called earlier this week after seeing EAD/AP case numbers before and after us were approved and the Tier 2 told us to just wait. Our lawyer's office called again today and was instructed to call back again at the end of the month if we didn't receive the card by then. Very frustrating.

Yeah super frustrating...I hope we will hear something soon, it drives me crazy :D

Oh I'm sorry, that's so frustrating! Hopefully your EAD comes in meantime, and that your new letter comes soon!

I am glad to see letters coming for Santa Ana though as it says online as of May 31, they are still processing October.

I called today as we are at day 90, and we'd had no service request response, apparently EAD got approved a couple of days ago, but still isn't updated online. Has anyone else had this issue? She said to just start checking my mailbox.

They do not ever ever ever admit to any mistakes on their end!!! Its so pointless to argue with them because the immigrants are always wrong, even if they are right. You cant win!!

I am very sorry to hear that! I know how frustrated you are! ?

I guess the congressman of montana doesnt give a damn either, as i havent heard anything back yet. I am so done with this. This is how they treat ppl. And i do not expect any special treatment, bc my husband is an active duty mil member and i gave birth to his sec son in japan while he was deployed in afghanistan, fighting for the ppl in his country, but come on!!! ?

i was going to wait til next week but couldnt contain myself so called today to investigate why my case hasnt updated from "fingerprint received" now the waiting for a tier 2 to call me back.. the guy was trying to arguing with me saying they only received my documents on may 9th and that would make it day 74 from filing therefor its too soon for anything to happen with my case.. I even told him uscis recieved my case on april 11th which puts me at day 103 but my last update was may 9th... he then told me the system doesnt lie that i got my months and date all wrong!! what the hell!!!!!!

i even told him well if you never recieved my AOS packet untiil may 9th how is it possible for my check to be cashed in april from uscis.. he told me i have my information wrong that its impossible for then to cash a check that they hadnt even recieved and once again i have my months and dates all wrong that my check must of been cashed in the middle of may not in april!!

Not that helpful actually. . I really cried on the phone talking to Tier 2 today. She can't tell me about the status on my EAD.. she's just always asking me if USCIS sent me RFE I told them I didn't receive any. . I asked her if is there something wrong with my I-485 and EAD and she couldn't tell me. I am expecting with the government and I feel hopeless now
