Hello everyone

I had my interview at casablanca embassy and I'm sorry to say we didn't receive an approval. She gave me a white paper 221g that's administrative processing. can anyone tell us,has anyone ever received an approval after the AP was finished?we are shocked and devastated with all our paperwork they still didn't approve us. We belive we were discriminate against because of our age difference.

I received 221g letter but they kept my passport,how long does it take for them to finish this and do I have a chance to get approved yet ?

Are you sure about the disapproval? Did the interviewing officer state that?

My husband was interviewed last month and received a white 221(g) letter.

However, it was because he needed an updated certificate and the correct birth certificate.

He was told that once those two docs were submitted, everything would be good to go. And he was approved (issued a visa) within a week or so.

You just need to comply with your 221g required docs. if they kept your passport and you complied- yes there's a good chance you will be approved. You did not get a denial with the a 221g, they only need additional docs from you.

I answered on your duplicate post. 221g is not a denial of visa.

Just comply, it will delay you a bit but as long as you complied and no major issue, you will get your visa after AP.

Yes but they didn't say anything about addiction docs that heeded l,I believe they might send it back to the uscis.wish not,anyway thank you for your answer

The interviewer didn't say anything about disapproval and no documents are missing for me,however I doubt it's an approval either.van you tell me what happened with your case after month of waiting?and what embassy?

You are over thinking, with the 221g there should be an instruction what you need to comply and submit. Read the 221g letter, or they should email you what you need to submit.

What does the 221g form tell you? Is there a note written on it or a box checked on it that indicates what is needed or what they're doing? They could just be doing an extra security check or another review of your file. Now is not the time to feel devastated, this is a time for patience and hope. They kept your passport, that is a good sign. Since they didn't ask for any papers, you'll just have to wait for them to complete their extra checks and see what they say afterward. No decision has been made on your visa application yet, but it's clear you have some hope of an answer coming decently soon because they kept your passport.

Yes there is a chance of approval, very good one, at this time. Post interview AP usually takes a few weeks, or many months. It depends. Since you are from a MENA country, there will be extra AP for sure.

My husband was given 221g and was advised he is in AP. After 4.5 months of waiting visa was approved. Most men from MENA countries are given AP for security checks. Just be patient. Also them keeping your passport is good news. I know AP is a very stressful time. Good Luck!

K1 outta morrocco is hard for some, probably just extra security checks. I did find this about 221g slips

Don't just throw "discrimination" when things don't go your way. You weren't denied. Your partner is coming from Morocco.Most applicants from that area get extra scrutiny.
