I did the i864ez but upon reviewing my docs last night I found mistakes I made in part2. I totally put some of my info for my wife's info. So I'm waiting for them to hit me with the checklist.

Seriously? Ok....well you may just be one of the lucky ppl who gets their interview scheduled and be able to take the corrected info to the embassy. Jamaica's wait is long for scheduling interviews too....4-5mths I believe! :wow:

Hi guys, is there anyone else here with spouse in Jamaica- this police certificate thing is getting me loopy. Police records office notes that we must get documentation from Jamaican embassy. NVC is telling me that they need it before they can send documentation to Jamaican consulate- one big circular path. Please if someone know the process, please help... I would have totally been ccd had it not been for this, was anyone here successful in getting their police records from Jamaica?

Hi YSMitchell, I have a similar issue. I wasn't sure what to do. So I went searching VJ and found this thread from last year

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/552693-jamaica-police-certificate-help/ Things change very regularly here so I don't know if this is still the case. I went looking on security ministry website here

https://www.mns.gov.jm/resource/how-obtain-police-record all it says is you need to bring your passport. Again, I dont know how up-to-date the website is. I'd love to know if you find out what the right thing is.

Hi Propsja so you got it without having to get a letter from NVC? and you only needed to bring your passport? Did you have to tell them it was for immigration purposes... Just want to have it super clear. Thanks so much

Quick question! What's after cc?? Will I be just waiting for medical exam and interview date to be assigned??

Yup....you wait for NVC to send your docs to your country's embassy and they will send you a Packet 4 with interview letter etc once they have available slots for an interview. You'll then need to take your interview letter to schedule your medical appointment before you attend your interview since the results must be presented at the time of the interview.
