I am still waiting too. :( It has been almost 4 months since the biometrics

Have you made an infopass appointment to find out what might be the hold up? I am plan to do so next week.

No idea on how to reschedule, but I imagine there is way to do so.

i did an infopass a couple of months back. In my opinion it dosent help much. they just tell u the same things they do on the phone. Let me know what you hear from your infopass appt

My wife officially became a USC today at approx. 1:42 pm Arizona Time. The oath was at the Federal District court of Arizona in Phoenix.

* Applied for passport (they had a little kiosk for that purpose setup)

* Registered to Vote (also a kiosk for that as well).

Per the instructions from the court there is some update we need to do for her SS card - We'll do that when she gets her Certificate of US citizen citizenship back from the passport application that she submitted.

During the ceremony, just after the oath they escorted a lady from Vietnam out... We are speculating that she forgot her Green Card -- feel bad for her to come this far and for that to happen.

Overall it was a great experience (although I had my hands full with our three kids)... I am sure it even a more moving experience for her.

I became a citizen of US. yesterday (July 22) at 10:41am. There were there 652 people from 36 countries. I will apply for passport in 2-3 days. I didn't want to wait for 651 people at the line :)

There were 26 countries represented at my Wife's ceremony - I think there were around 80 or so applicants....

Per the instructions from the court there is some update we need to do for her SS card - We'll do that when she gets her Certificate of US citizen citizenship back from the passport application that she submitted.

During the ceremony, just after the oath they escorted a lady from Vietnam out... We are speculating that she forgot her Green Card -- feel bad for her to come this far and for that to happen.

Overall it was a great experience (although I had my hands full with our three kids)... I am sure it even a more moving experience for her.

Yes, you have to update SSA of your new status. They also suggested you wait 10 days to make sure your record is in the system. A passport suffices for proof, if you don't want to have to carry the certificate around.

Adjustment of Status from H-1B, Family-Based
07/26/2012 - 10/18/2012: 85 Days from Application Received to GC Received.
Removal of Conditions
07/22/2014 - 11/14/2014: 116 Days from Application Received to GC Received.
Naturalization
02/03/2016 - 05/31/2016 : 119 Days from Application Received to Oath Ceremony.
