We did Biometrics last wednesday. Our case was updated and said they have sent an RFE. Anyone else had this yet? I have no idea what more evidence they want.

Yes! Same here.

My husband did biometrics last week Wednesday (February 3).

I checked the status online like I do everyday and on Thursday it says they sent out an RFE on February 3rd.

Still waiting for that letter to come in the mail to find out just what they are requesting.

Ok so I came home and saw the 3 letters with the receipt numbers.it said they received the package on 29/1 and the notice date is 03/02. They said I will receive the biometrics letter after. By the way what does priority date mean.

Every prospective immigrant has his or her own priority datethe date that either USCIS first received the I-130 filed by your family petitioner.

Yes..

The alien registration number, which the Department of Homeland Security assigns to each alien. It is an "A" followed by eight numbers. For example: A12 345 678. Some recently-issued A numbers consist of an "A" followed by nine digits. For example: A 200 345 678.

We mailed our package on Jan. 25.

Received on January 29

And still we havent got any text, email, or mail .

We atached the E - notification form with every form ( me and my san).

I know the problems of mailing and the winter storms, but at list we should have received an email... .

Imread all this forum and notice than only 1-2 people are at the same stage with us.

Hope this week will get something.

Im getting really franstrated. Shouldnt I?

Finally got NO1 letters in the mail yesterday :dancing: Now we are waiting for Biometrics.

Now, is it possible to expedite the Employment Authorization, If we need my husband to start working ASAP ?

Hi there,

We mailed the documents at his address: USCIS PO BOX. 805887, CHICAGO IL, 60680 - 4120

We mailed on Jan. 25 and as we saw by USPS tracking, they were receive on January 29. Since that time we have not heard anything about the papers. The check is still not cashed, we havents got any text or e-mail, and of course not a hard copy of NOA.

Is the address the rigt one? What can I do in this situation?

I dont know what is going on with those documents and I am really upset .

That's great news!

I had the same thing happen to me with my application. I received a hard copy for my AOS & EAD but not for my travel doc, but received electronic notices via email and text for all three.

I waited till 30 days after USCIS recieved my package (I filed all three together) to call them. They said that as long as I have the email/text message with the receipt number for my travel doc then it did not matter if I had the hard copy or not. And they refused to re-send a hard copy.

Hope that helps! You've nothing to worry about :)

It seems we have a similar timeline and Boston winter storm quirks. Hope we receive the Biometrics letter this week or early next week. Patience is not a virtue I have.

We just got he text mesage and e-mail. Thanks God! The petion got over the line this 24 hours. So, if enyone is wating for many days, shouldnt be worried as i did.

For those who did the biometrics already.

Do I need to bring anything else apart from letter and my ID? just making sure.

Also how long it take you guys? I have to travel to the office for over an hour so I would like to have an idea so I can plan my day.

Thanks everyone for sharing your experience in this thread. I think it makes it easier to know what stages other people are since it it a constant waiting game.

The day you end waiting would be they day you get your US citizenship.
