Im a green card holder and my wife is american citizen, we have recently immigrated to the US and we had a new baby.

I still dont have job , any financial monthly aid for the new babies ? Like in Canada (CCTB)

Have your wife look into WIC and also TANF for your state.

Nope. Wic doesn't count. Wen illegals can get it legally. Medicaid as well as it belongs to the U.S. Citizen

Unfortunately the usa doesn't have anything like cctb or uccb.

The U.S. citizen and the child can receive public benefits. The foreign spouse can not...Log into your state health connector for health care information. The foreign spouse can get state subsidized health care that does not fall under the public charge definition. The U.S. Citizen and child are eligible to receive food stamps and financial aid , but the foreign spouse is not under the the public charge category. WIC is not a benefit the foreign spouse would receive , so it is okay for the child to get it.

Your wife and child can use all available government resources available to US citizens. It's only the LPR that should not use means tested benefits.

Yes, WIC is acceptable. As previously stated. the U.S. citizen and the child can also receive Federal benefits such as free healthcare (medicaid) and food stamps. Only the foreign spouse falls under the public charge rule.

WIC is not a public charge when its for a US Citizen child. These benefits are for the child. Your wife as the American Citizen if she is not working can also apply for Food Stamps at your local county office and you can be included in the food stamps case once you have your social security card.

I also am a stay at home mom after having a child and I get WIC and food stamps and neither of these are considered a public charge with my husband being a green card holder.

It is the holiday season and lots of retail shops are hiring. You should be able to find one. Your wife knows the system ( I assume since she is the USC).
